I have this idea to decorate my entryway/foyer like a walk-up NYC apartment. These are going to be my inspiration images.

New York Brownstones. Try and stay in one when you visit New York. They give you the real taste of the city and make you feel that you belong. OK so you are unlikely to get more than a sink and a microwave as a kitchen and there wont be an elevator if you stay on the upper floors but it is all worth it just to sit on the stoop at twilight and watch New York go by.

Hamilton-Holly House East Village, Manhattan, New York City, New York The large town house at 4 St. Mark’s Place in the East Village section of Manhattan was constructed in 1831 in the Federal style, Flemish bond brickwork, high stoop, long parlor- floor windows. The entire block of St. Mark’s Place (East 8th Street) was built by English-born real estate developer Thomas E. Davis, who sold this house to Col. Alexander Hamilton,son of the late first U.S. Secretary of the Treasury.

This is New York to me. And also kind of reminds me of Stoop Kid from Hey Arnold.
