There will be lots of differing opinions about what’s healthy and what’s not but I think most of us will agree that we often crave a little sweet treat. In my opinion, one of the least healthy things we can do is eat processed foods; all the hidden nasties, emulsifiers and ingredients one doesn’t even know how to pronounce! So if you’re going to eat chocolate and give in to that sugar craving then at least try and make it at home with whole ingredients that are minimally processed. Ingredients: 100 g pecans (3/4 cup) 480 ml milk (2 cups) - regular or plant-based 60 ml maple syrup (1/4 cup) 30 g cornstarch (3 tbsp) 1/4 tsp cinnamon Instructions: 1. Blend pecans, maple syrup, cornstarch, milk, and a pinch of cinnamon in a blender until smooth. 2. Pour the mixture into a saucepan. 3.
