TGC Product Project Examples

This collection of resources is used in a unit we have done mid-year during our world geography and cultures curriculum. Students identify an issue in a country or across nations and then must devise a product to help solve the issue. They must write a persuasive letter and present a visual component to the class. Classmates must decide whether to invest in their product or not based on the idea and presentation.

Topmost and largest Suspension Bridge In #Nepal. Villagers in Parbat district of Nepal couldn't believe when they first heard about this bridge that would connect district headquarter to rest of its VDCs through 344 meters long Kusma-Gyadi suspension bridge above 135 meters. After all, seeing is believing. Everyone benefited from this bridge specially the local commuters. Hours of walk is now reduced to few minutes.

Indestructible soccer ball was developed as a way to help kids play soccer in regions where they don't have access to soccer balls. One of my students brought in one they bought for their destructive dog. It took a beating and was still usable.
