Morning Star Sedge - Carex grayi - is one of my favorite natives for #raingardens, #bioretention cells and #pond margins. Its lovely texture and interesting seed-heads stay upright all season and contrast other plants perfectly. Great food for birds as well so it's beneficial for #biodiversity.
