Captain Omer R McDuff - Joined the Army Air Corps right after college. First squadron sent to England to train with the RAF in Spitfires. Flew Spitfires over Northern Africa, Sicily, and Italy. Won Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal with 12 Oak Leaf Clusters, and the French Croix de Guerre. After 121 combat missions, returned home on D-Day. Loved Spitfires his whole life. After passing at, 95 he is surely to be flying Spitfires now on Eagles Wings. Love you always, Daddy, all the much. Fly on!
