Although it took a long time, because winter is really approaching here in the Netherlands and the days are getting colder, so also in my art studio! Brrr! But the wait was worth it, because it’s really SUPER beautiful! FULL VIDEO NOW on my YouTube channel (video #38) I recently made a test painting, and it turned out so beautiful that I used exactly those colors for this MEGA large canvas! It’s just a limited palette with the following colors: - Brilliant Purple by Liquitex - Turquoise Blue by Amsterdam - Winsor Violet by Winsor and Newton - Bright Aqua Green by Liquitex - Light Blue Violet by Liquitex - Pearlescent Violet and Blue by Amsterdam Gold Metallic spraypaint from the discounter here in the Netherlands (Action) All colors are mixed: 1 part paint, 2 parts Owatrol Floetrol and 1,5 parts water Cell activator made with Oxide Black Mixed 1 part paint, 3 parts Australian Floetrol TIPS: - When using spray paint indoors, protect yourself with a face mask. Be well informed about the different masks. Your health is very important! If you have a ventilation system, turn it ON and leave the door open (for a while) so that the toxic gases can escape! - This spray paint dries very quickly, so it’s important that you work quickly! - Spray paint is very flammable for the first few minutes! Never run your torch over it right away. Wait there for at least 5 minutes and never directly ON the spray paint!! - Never stop experimenting!! 😉 #acrylgieten #acrylicpainting #acrylics #art #dutchartist #fluidartist #fluidart #marjoleinart #kunst #liquitexbasics #atelier4c #acrylicpouring #abstractart #gold #puddlepour #spraypaint #mixedmedia #beginner #creationvideo #instaartist #amsterdampaint #winsorandnewton #experiment #metallics #swipe #australianfloetrol #tutorial #pearlescent | MarjoleinART - Fantasy Artwork

54K views · 1K reactions | Purple Rainbows | The purple base made these colors POP! #art #artwork #painting #paint #acryl #artist | By MollysArtistry | This is such a fun color combo. I wanted to do a totally different base color for this one and so I'm using an ultramarine violet light hue here and it is such a pretty purple. I am doing the recedles that I do and I have my pearlescent paints on the side as well but I wanted to layer multiple colors on layer this time and I must say I really do like the result. I'll show you at the end. So now that I've got the base down I am just going to start with my puddles and a tip here is you may want to go into this with some type of plan. So where are you going to layer your colors? What colors are you going to layer on top of one another? I show you these kind of sped up videos but in real life they take me much longer to plan out and much longer to but it is nice to actually have some idea of where your colors are going to go so that you can decide on what composition that you like. It also helps you not have the same bottom color and the same top color on each one. I love the bright red on this one and the green and the yellow and the purple those complimentary colors they give such an energy to the painting I really really like that Now come my pearl colors and I'm layering all the different pearl colors on top and these are pearlescent interference paints. They dry a color even though they look white on the canvas itself but they do dry a specific color. Now I'm taking my stick and going through each of the puddles to create the design. This is so much fun. You could create whatever design you want on these. Alright, now it's time to stretch this out and this is where the magic happens. I love seeing these almost leaf-like petals. They remind me of flowers as I start to stretch out. I love when they start to appear and all of the colors mixed together. And this is what it dried like. I love it. So pretty. The yellow and the green and the red with the purple. Super happy.

29K views · 1.3K reactions | River of Gold Painting with just paint and water | Love the River of Gold Running through this one! Thin paint straight pour with just paint and water! #art #artwork #painting #paint #acryl #artist | By MollysArtistry | I am back with another painting and this time I'm going to do a gold and paints that I'm using are mixed with paint and water but they are just a little bit thicker than my technique that I use with the blow dryer and this is so I can keep some of the crisp lines in the center but so that it will still stay very soft. This technique I absolutely love and it really reminds me as if you sliced through a piece of stone. So I just pour all the colors into the cup and then I pour them out onto the canvas and the result is always so beautiful to me. I end up getting this beautiful river of gold through this one and I do get a lot of questions why do I paint my sides sometimes and not always and I tend to paint my sides if the colors that I am using are transparent or semi transparent. I also choose to paint my sides when I'm working with thinner paints because the thinner paints will show through the edges of the canvas just a little bit. You can touch those things up afterwards after the painting has dried but it's much easier if you do a little bit of work beforehand so that you don't have to and you can see how beautiful this design is already coming out. I'm so happy with this one. There's so much interest in it and I've got that beautiful river of gold and there's no oils, no additional mediums in this. It's just paint and water. The turb of pouring them into the cup and the mixture of metallics and the paint brands that I use create all those interesting designs. I was so happy with this one. It's so soft and delicate with these just beautiful rivers of colors throughout and there you have it. I really love it. I have a little bit of ultramarine violet. Ultramarine blue in there. It's got that purplish tint to it. Super happy with that one. Look at that river of gold.

45K views · 1K reactions | Wrecked Ring Pour in Purples and Magenta | This is the first in my series of wrecked ring pours. I wanted to try out a bunch of different color combinations and designs to see which one I like... | By MollysArtistry | So I started a new painting series and this one is all about wrecked ring pours. So you layer the colors into the cup and they are thicker. And I use my flow troll and gloss medium mixture for these paints. And so you layer them into the cup one on top of another. Pouring them down the side so that the layers sit right on top. And then I'm going pour them out into a circle and that gives you the ring pour technique but what I am most interested in are wrecking these meaning I'm going to take a stick or skewer or tongue depressor and run it through the design and create interesting lines and so my concept for this series is to change the way that I wreck it and change my color sets to see which ones I like best so you are going to see a few of these coming out I love the purple and the magenta and the blue, this color combination is great. I used the blue in the center and you will see what's in the center of any type of ring pour will normally come out to be your focal point or your center of interest and it can be offset. It doesn't have to be in the center but that color is going to stretch out to be the most predominant. So, I am just going to pop some of the air bubbles here and then I am going to start creating my lines and for the first one, I wanted to start on the left side of the painting and work towards the right and that's it. Very simple. One direction for this one in a diagonal motion. Stretching out these types of paintings are so important. Take as much time as you need to get the design exactly where you want it. You've worked so hard to mix your paints and so hard to come up with your concept and to layer them on the canvas. Take your time stretching it out as well. You can see the blue in the that was in the center has now started to stretch out to become the most predominant part of the painting in my opinion and I love the design and I love the colors. I think it's super cool. It's got a little bit of motion to it, not much because I didn't run the skewer through as much but it's just got the sweeping motion up towards that side and I think it's really cool. So you'll see some more of these coming out.

564K views · 11K reactions | colorful ring pour | This one is super bright and colorful and makes me happy! #art #artist #artwork | By MollysArtistry | I was feeling like some bold pops of color. I am doing two ring pours and then I'm going to swipe through those to create some motion. I love bright colors and they make me so happy and they truly can affect your mood. When I started really focusing in on art, I started to realize how much I enjoy color. And how much the colors you choose can influence what a painting makes you feel like. Even the cup is pretty. So now I had some of the purple and the yellow and I'm just going to layer this on around to make sure that I have enough paint on the canvas to stretch it to all the edges. Giving this one a good torch and it looks like a big set of spiral sunglasses. Now, it's time to add the swipes in. I started with a swipe right in between them to blend those colors together and to not have it look so separate. I was debating going through the center or leaving the center of the ring pour when I swiped through. I decided to leave the center and I'm really glad I did because it added a very geometric feel to the painting. Now it's time to stretch this one out. I love the pink center ring pour. So pretty. Big paintings are so much fun to do. The paint that was on my table actually blended surprisingly to give me a pretty almost pastel purple color when it was all said and done. I love that strip with the yellow, the blue, and the magenta there and I was trying to keep just a little bit of it on the edge super fun and that is how it dried really pretty colors super bright and literally just makes me happy This one's already varnished which is why you can see it has that shiny glossy finish to it. It really brings the colors out and makes them pop super bright. But there you have it.
