Example of your storage with legs added-- I think legs are very necessary (on humans and furniture!), or mounting them to the wall would also work-- they just need to be a bit off the floor.

This is a maybe. I like the other curtains better for several reasons but thought I'd throw a darker one in in case things felt to light/feminine/airy.

This is an example of what I meant by textural. It would be soft enough under the feet and won't stain. Would add visual interest but wouldn't compete with anything.

After thinking more about the sound system constraints, I think this size may a better option but I can measure again. I think the room needs two. $40 more (for both) than the smaller size I showed you.
