The aim of the study was to investigate public relations impact in promoting polytechnics in Ghana. The study was predominantly qualitative and in-depth face to face personal interviews using interview guide was the main tool used in gathering data from public relations personnel who have a deep knowledge in public relations practices. The study revealed that public relations units of polytechnics studied have not done much to manage the misconceptions about polytechnic education. Methodology: Questionnaires were used to collect data from 120 students taking part in the UEW distance education programme at the Kumasi Girls SHS Study Center. Respondents were segmented into three clusters (highly, moderately, and least satisfied) based on four preferences (price, quality, packaging, and social boding) that influenced their satisfaction with the distance education programme. Result: Findings from both hierarchical and non-hierarchical cluster analysis with squared Euclidean distance and Ward’s method showed that the highly satisfied cluster was driven by quality of service and the fees (i.e. price) of the UEW distance education programme. The purpose of this study was to get a better understanding of internal marketing motivation and ... more The purpose of this study was to get a better understanding of internal marketing motivation and challenges faced by employees of rural banks in Eastern Region of Ghana. The sample size for the study was 350 employees and was selected using convenience sampling technique. Questionnaire was the main instrument used for data collection. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics based on frequencies and percentages. Results of the study showed that money was not the only incentive that motivated employees of rural banks to work very harder. The results also showed that employees of the rural banks lacked the logistics to enable them perform effectively. Furthermore, the study revealed that employees of rural banks have not been accorded the recognition they deserved by management.
