244K views · 8.9K reactions | CROCKPOT FRENCH ONION SOUP 🧅🧀🥖 I love using my crockpot for soups because it is SO much easier, so I tried making my French onion soup recipe in my crockpot, and it turned out so so well, and you don’t have to stand over the stove stirring onions for hours! NOTES: This takes about 6 hours to make in the crockpot, so I always start the soup around lunchtime so it’s ready in time for dinner. This recipe serves about 4-5 people! I also love using beef bone broth in place of normal beef broth because it is higher in protein and makes the soup more filling! INGREDIENTS: - 6 sweet onions or vidalia onions - 1 tbsp butter - 1 tsp brown sugar - 1 tsp salt + 1/4 tsp pepper (add more to taste) - 2 tbsp all purpose flour - 32 oz beef broth (I use bone broth to add protein) - 3 large pieces of crusty white bread (I use sourdough) - 4 oz shredded gruyere cheese - Diced green onions or chives for garnish (optional) HOW TO: - Slice the onions in half then into thin half-moon slices. - Add the sliced onions, butter, brown sugar, salt and pepper to your crockpot. - Set the crockpot to ‘high’. - Stir the onions every 30 minutes or so. They will start to soften, then will start to turn light brown, and eventually will become caramelized and a deep golden color. This takes about 3-4 hours, so just stir every 30 mins-1 hour! - Once the onions are very soft and caramelized sprinkle over 2 tbsp of flour and stir for 1-2 minutes (the flour helps thicken the soup). - Add the beef broth and stir until well combined. Taste and add extra salt + pepper to taste. Place the lid on the soup and let it come to a simmer - this takes about 30 minutes. - While the soup is heating lightly toast the bread and cut into 1-2 inch squares. Shred the gruyere cheese. - Once the soup is very hot give it one last stir, then arrange the bread floating on top of the soup. - Sprinkle over a layer of cheese then cover with the lid for 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted. - Garnish with diced green onions or chives, serve and enjoy! 🫶 #frenchonionsoup #souprecipe #fallrecipe #cooking #dinneridea #healthyrecipes #easyrecipes #soup | Claire Hodgins

We're going to add in one bell pepper. And one onion, small onion. Kim that chopping board's little heavy for ya. It's getting a little wobbly on me. Okay let's ground this up and then we'll drain the excess fat and go from there. Okay we've got our ground beef, onions, and bell peppers cooked. And we're going to put it in a strainer to drain the extra grease. I'll get them extra bell pepper onions out in just a minute. Once you've got that drain, you're going to take it and put it in your crock pot. Don't put the grease in there. No, I did put the grease in. Okay. Now, you're going to add in a teaspoon to 2 teaspoons of garlic Now we are going to add in a twenty-four ounce jar of this is roasted garlic sauce. You can pick whichever kind you'd like. Kroger had this on sale this week. The Rouse oreo's whatever you say. I think that's the best. One can of petite diced tomatoes. Small can of tomato sauce. One and a half teaspoons of Italian seasoning a tablespoon of sugar. Not real sure about that. Interesting. Recipe. One cup of water. This is the tomato sauce and stuff. I already have enough sugar. I would have thought but this is the recipe Tyler. This is the Crock Pot American goulash. And we're going to let this just simmer for about 2 hours. Then we're going to add in a cup of uncooked macaroni for the last hour. So right now this is just going to simmer here for a couple hours to get all the flavors together. Okay. We have let this cook for an hour and a half. Now we are going to add in a cup of elbow macaroni. This smells phenomenal. It's not cooked. Leave it uncooked. And then you're going to let it cook for one more hour. And then we'll have our Crock Pot American goulash. Okay here's our Crock Pot American Goulash. Looks delicious. Smells delicious. I did already get some out for me to try. It was too steamy hot. I let it cool for a minute before I tried it. I'm not like Tyler. I can't handle all that steam. I have to say that's probably nine point five. It's delicious. Very delicious.

That's the turkey sausage. And we need some chicken broth too. That's in the fridge. Will you grab that for me please? Sure. Chicken broth. Great. Here we go. Uh there it is. Chicken broth. Great. So we've got the turkey sausage. We're going to use the reduced sodium broth to make this healthier. Now we need some seasoning. We're going to go with just a traditional steak seasoning. And we're going to have about a tablespoon of that. And now we're going to cut up our sausage. We're going to cook that on high for four hours or on low for 8 hours. Stir it up and then taste it. In here and. Alright, it's time to taste test. Now, this one came by request of you. It looks pretty good. You know, you give it a stir in the middle. You want to make sure those potatoes are done. Ooh, it actually smells pretty good. I think that that steak seasoning was a good addition. Kyle, have you ever tried anything like this before? I don't even know what this thing is. Oh, we're about to taste it and see how it turns out. You got some cabbage. What is this stuff? So, we've got cabbage. We've got potatoes. We've got turkey sausage. Is it hot? Looks like it's burning. It's looking hot. Yeah, maybe we should let it cool. Just a minute. It's good but it's really hot. They're hot. Good job. Let it cool maybe a little while.

47K views · 934 reactions | Crockpot Mississippi Roast | Crockpot Mississippi Roast I show you how to make a delicious roast for your family #Mississippi | By Abby’s Creations | Starting with one bottom roast into our Crock Pot. I have about five medium-sized potatoes that I'm just going to put nicely around the roast. Very nice and full already. It's going to be such a delicious hearty dinner for you guys. You're going to love it so much. We have our potatoes in. I'm going to be adding in some carrot sticks. This is about six carrot sticks and you can use baby carrots if you'd like but I just really, really prefer to use like the whole carrots just kind of chop 'em up to any size and on top of all of this, I have two packs of Aju gravy that we're going to be adding in. And then another edition of seasonings is going to do some ranch. I really love ranch. That really pops in the flavor. Throw the shed. It's really going to give it some really good spice. It's going to be some peppercini. So, I'm going to use a whole can of sliced. You can do whole pepper cheese if you'd like but this is the one that I love to use. So, I'm going to Yummy. Look how pretty that's already looking. I know it's all going to cook down but I just love the pops of colors in here and then I add on top is just half a stick of butter. I also like to do is add water to the whole jar of pepper cheese that I'm using and add that into the base because I like it really liquidy so you really get all that flavor enhanced in there now that we have all of our beautiful lovely ingredients in here all we're going to do is put this on high for about five to six hours we're just really wanting the roast to cook through okay alright we are ready to check on our roast this is a Miss Chicken Roast but I like to really go for Mississippi stew because I like to add in the potatoes and carrots and it is falling right apart. It is so tender. Seven hours of cooking. I mean, you can't get much better than that. The smell is amazing. So, I'm just going to shred this all up real quick. Now, that's all nice to shut it up which really wasn't a big issue at all 'cuz it's so tender. It's really just falling right apart. I did go ahead and myself out some in a bowl. So, we're just going to try it. It's really like melting in my mouth. All over liquid, the pepperccini juice, the aji gravy, and the ranch. Mm mm mm. This is so good. It's perfect for any occasion. I love it on a cold knife but really this is so good that I honestly probably prepare this like once a week or every once and a half week that I prepare this for my family. Enjoy.

676K views · 1.5K comments | I learned this from my grandma! | I learned this from my grandma! this pork loin roast is so easy and so good y'all! | By Kristin's Friends | Alright, y'all. I'm placing one white onion sliced at the bottom of my crock pot that I lined with some olive oil. I should have put on some glasses y'all because these onions are making me want to cry. Alright, so we just lining em up like that. That looks great. Alright, y'all. Now, what we have here is a pork loin roast. This thing's about four pounds or so. So, what I'm going to do is, let's see. I should have thought about this first. I'm going to put this right here. We're going to season this up. So, I'm doing a real easy recipe. I have this smoky mesquite seasoning. And this is the only seasoning we're going to use. So I'm going to put this on the pork and I'm going to rub it in. On on both sides. Alright y'all. I shoulda got a different plate and I'm like is this plate going to fall in here? Alright y'all. So we're going to do both sides. Yep and I'm I'm getting pork juice everywhere but that's fine. I'm going to wash my hands. Alright? So good amount of seasoning. Alright. This smells real good. I'm excited. So this is a quick easy recipe. Quick easy way to make a delicious pork loin. Um I plan on making one of these for Easter. So I thought I'd show y'all how I like to do it because it's so easy and that's it and everyone always loves it. Alright. So once we have a good amount of seasoning we put this right on top of our onions, alright? And then we're going to put more seasoning. We're going to put the rest of the seasoning on top but we just want to make sure we rubbed it everywhere and got it got it totally covered, alright? So, there we go. What was that noise? I was like, that sounds like a cat toy. Alright, y'all. We also going to put in here some potatoes. I have about two pounds of red potatoes. So, we're going to put these around our pork loin roast, alright? Like so. So, it's a quick, easy dinner like I said y'all. Um I love making this for Easter because you just put it in here and it is literally the best, easiest, most moist pork y'all have ever had, alright? So we're doing that. We also putting some carrots in. So we're going to put these around. Yum yum yum. Carrots and potatoes. And pork. If y'all want to put other veggies in you can. Alright we're just going to dump the rest. There we go. Alright. And now what else am I doing? Oh we need some liquid. So I'm putting about two cups of chicken broth. Um y'all can use whatever kind of broth you want. If you have vegetable stock you can but we definitely need some liquid because we want this pork to stay nice and moist. Alright so about two cups. And then we're going to simply finish it with some chives. I have some freeze dried chives right on top. And that's it y'all. So the key to this. We going to cover this and cook this on low for like nine hours. It for a long time. But y'all are going to love this easy, delicious pork dinner. Have a little Frankie foo foo here. He's not as cranky as he is during the day. But maybe that's because during the day I bother him while he's sleeping. At night he's always out. And it's night time. Cuz we've been making this crock pot pork for like 9 hours. Right baby? Oh my little baby. I just love you so much. You're my little baby. My little dream cat. I love you so much. Foofy Lulu. Foofy Lou. That's one of his nicknames. Fred's trying to get his eyeball right now. Okay, baby. You good boy. Alright, y'all. So, here we have that Crock Pot pork tenderloin. I literally just unplugged it. Uh It's been cooking for after like eight and a half hours. I did it on high for the first three or four and then switched it to low. It's going to be done. Alright. So obviously y'all know like crock pot's very this is the I I love this crock pot. I'll I'll link it so you guys can see but I have a few of these and it always works great. So let's see. I'm going to plate some of this up. So what y'all can do is like shred it up in here and just make a big plate but I'm not going to do that right now because I'm tired y'all. It's it's night time. And usually I finish during the day but this one had to cook all day. So we just going to plate some up. And then I'm going to plate some up for Fred? And then we going to have some dinner. Right Fred? Mhm. Mhm. Alright y'all. So here we go. Let's see. Let's get in here. Alright. Maybe we should get this one down here. Let's see how this is. It should just pull apart right Fred? Oh there we go. Yep. That is part. Look at that y'all. Oh my goodness. That looks so good. Alright. This is what we want. The pork just kind of like shreds apart. So I'm just going to take some of this and put it on my plate. I'm going to get a little bit more because that's not enough for me. I'm hungry. I'm hungry. Alright. Y'all. Oh yeah this is perfect. Fred's really excited. He told me he was excited about this. So I'm going to move this to the side. I got my little plate here. I'm going to get some of this juice. Alright y'all. We going to try it. Um here we go. I should just put the camera down and put it at my dinner table because me and Fred about to eat dinner but I gotta show y'all this first. Uh I'm not going to try the potatoes or carrots because they're going to be good. We just going to try the meat. So happy happy what Fred what day is today? Wednesday but who knows what day I'll post this? So that's it. Y'all alright. Y'all This meat is so good. It's so moist. That's it. Y'all should try it. This is so easy, so simple, and it's delicious. Y'all should try it.
