- John Wilson is one of Australia's leading oil painters. He grew up in the beautiful Blue Mountains of NSW. Now John is a Multi-Award winning artist, whose elegant paintings capture the more elusive qualities unique to the Australian landscape. - Indigenous Australian artist Albert Namatjira (1902–1959) is arguably Australia's best known Aboriginal painter. He is known for watercolours of desert landscapes. His paintings also depict Ghost Gums that were to be listed as heritage sites in Alice Springs, but these trees have now been burnt down. - Sydney Long [1871-1955] is Australia's foremost Art Nouveau style painter and a major Symbolist. In his works he created magical images. Long's paintings are like reveries; they create a feeling of spiritual elevation, of another reality. And yet, seeking imagery which conveyed the 'lonely and primitive feelings of this country. - Sir Hans Heysen (1877 – 1968) was a German-born Australian artist. He became a household name for his watercolours of monumental Australian gum trees. Heysen also produced images of men and animals toiling in the Australian bush, as well as groundbreaking depictions of arid landscapes in the Flinders Ranges. - Andy Dolphyn's oil painting subjects range from rural landscapes to forests, seascapes and still life and the one thing that ties them all together is the play of light. He is particularly interested in the moody effects of morning or evening light on the landscape. A lot of works are painted "en plein air". - Warwick Fuller, Australian Outdoor Painter, with the exception of studying with Kevin Oxley in 1979, he received no formal art training. Influenced instead by the landscape paintings of his grandfather, Warwick started painting. He is now one of Australia's foremost living landscape painters, elected a Fellow of the Royal Art Society of New South Wales. - David Chen was born in China and holds both Bachelor and masters degrees in fine arts. David taught fine art in university for several years in China. David arrived in Melbourne in 1993. He was invited to be part of the Hydra art group that was founded by the Australian Government. - Herman Pekel, born in Melbourne in 1956, is well known for his oils and watercolours. He produces paintings of strong design and powerful impact – every brush-stroke vibrant and visible. - John McCartin, b. 1954, New South Wales, Australia. Commencing full time painting in 2002, John has been catapulted from relative obscurity to international acclaim as one of the world’s finest artists. Visually striking and convincing representations, his works have great beauty and intense realism. His masterful use of color and tone create a powerful illusion of space, light and atmosphere. These qualities combined with John's keen powers of observation, superb drawing skill and passionate response to an inexhaustible array of subjects sets him apart from other artists. - Graham was born in Queensland Australia 1960, but was drawn to spend most of his life in the "World Heritage listed" Blue Mountains west of Sydney. This region with its natural beauty was Graham's inspiration to become a Landscape Artist After 25 Years of professionally Painting he has won many awards. - Gerard Mutsaers was born in Holland in 1947. He arrived as a young child in 1952. He started painting in 1974 and is a traditional landscape painter, who has become well-known for his natural style and faithful representation of the Australian bush. - Ivars Jansons, 1939 | Plein Air, has exhibited his work around the world, with these travels offering him a constant source of inspiration. He captures special moments that often pass us by, unobserved. With strength in depicting light and shadow, his work tells the story of magical moments in time.
