Gyeongbokgung Palace is a historical palace located in northern Seoul, South Korea. It was built in 1395, during the Joseon Dynasty, and served as the main royal palace for over 500 years. The palace was originally named Gyeongbokgung, which means "Palace of Shining Happiness"
