Brickwalk way to front door. Like how traditional it is. Like that it is in keeping with the style of a colonial home. Like framing the path with vertical bricks. (but may want the frame to be same height as path so the kids dont trip as they run through the yard.).

So...this happened yesterday! They finished paving the front porch stoop and walkway! What did I do during that time you ask? Well, I basically stalked them, while taking pictures. I don't think I stopped smiling all day! I love this progress pic I snagged before they finished mortaring. We went with a white mortar to match our fireplace. Hoping to tie it all together!
