It is the cycle of nature that forms the ever-present inspiration that I seek to convey in KALEIDOSCOPE - 万花筒 — the sense of movement and fluidity that breathes life into each piece. Over the past decades, I have been honored to share my work with audiences around the globe; from the Found Museum in Beijing to the Groninger Museum in the Netherlands, the Erarta Museum in Russia, the Ulm Museum in Germany, and now, the Powerlong Museum in Shanghai.

One Thousand Libraries 📖 on Instagram: "The Library of the University of Vienna, established in 1365, is one of the oldest libraries in the German-speaking world, evolving alongside the university itself. Located in a historic building on Universitätsring, its grand reading rooms reflect the neoclassical architecture of the late 19th century, featuring intricate woodwork, elegant vaulted ceilings, and large windows that flood the space with natural light. The library holds a vast collection of over 7 million items, including rare manuscripts and early printed works.

What would it look like if Tadao Ando designed a temple? ➖ 📍Hill of the buddha 2 Takino, Minami Ward, Sapporo, Hokkaido 005-0862 일본 ➖ 종교의 의미를 떠나, 안도다다오나 건축투어를 좋아하시는 분들이라면 삿포로에서 꼭 가봐야한다고 생각하는 두대불전(아타마 다이부츠)입니다. 멀리서부터 보이는 대불의 빼꼼 머리가 도착하자마자 호기심을 자아내는데요. 건축가 안도 다다오는 이 공간을 불교인만을 위한 공간이아니라, 불교를 초월하여 모든 사람들의 마음에 평화와 위안을 장소가 될 수 있도록 초점을 맞추어 설계하였다고 합니다. 방문객들은 신성한 공간으로 공간적 이동을 유도하는 ‘물의 정원’과 기대감을 높이는 40m 길이의 터널을 지나고나서야 대불을 만날 수 있는데요. 비로소 만나게 되는 높이 13.5m, 무게 1,500t의 거대한 대불은 머리 위로 둥글게 뚫린 지붕을 통해 빛, 구름, 바람, 눈이 들어왔다 나왔다를 반복하며 마치 속세를 초월하는 듯한 신성스러운 장관을 연출합니다. 여름에는 대불을 둘러싼 언덕이 라벤더로 가득 채워져 보랏빛 향연이 펼쳐지고, 겨울에는 눈으로 덮여 순백의 신비로움을 자아내니 어느 시기에 삿포로를 가시든 꼭 가보셔야할 곳이라 생각됩니다. #sapporo #andotadao #archilover #hil
