The sacrament of reconciliation is a gift from God where you can go to a priest and confess all your sins. God gave us this gift to forgive the sins we have committed. Love this! True repentance isn't saying sorry. It means to stop going your direction and start going God's direction. True repentance is giving God everything - the good, the bad, and the ugly. It's complete and total surrender. Thank God for repentance. Without repentance, we would all be lost.

Guilt can be both good and bad.How it is possible? It is good if the person repent and tries not to sin anymore, if the person comes to God for forgivness. But there is guilt, when the person goes away from God,that is not a good thing.
Ron DiCianni - The Prodigal - Christ-Centered Art
This timeless epic painting illustrates the story of the prodigal son told in Luke 15. Though the events were told 2,000 years ago, the parable is relevant to each person today. God, as our Father, is waiting for us to run to Him...to come home. When we do, we are welcomed back, forgiven of our wrongdoing and given a new heritage that can only be offered by Him. The Prodigal depicts this moment in time and shows that God yearns for all His “prodigals” to return to Him.
