Good Morning & Happy Tuesday! 🌼 Here's how I added dried pressed flowers to a plain pillar candle from Dollar General! (You can also get these candles at... | By Love Crafted Decor | Hey, y'all. So, I got this pillar candle from Dollar General. I'm using some parchment paper and I'm taking my dry pressed flowers and just placing them onto my pillar candle, covering them with a little bit of parchment paper and then, just going over that gently with my mini iron. You just have to be careful not to do it too much because this is melting the wax which is what's holding your flowers to your candle and then, you'll just need to gradually remove your parchment paper and you'll repeat this process as many times as you want until you have your candle as full as you want of pressed flowers. Another tip is once you remove your parchment paper, you can gently rub over your flowers with your finger because there maybe a little bit of wax there just kind of built up on your flowers that you can smooth out and that would also help seal your flowers to your candle. This little mini iron doesn't have a heat setting so it's just a one setting that I'm using here and I'm just going over my flowers gently just enough to warm up a thin layer of the wax just to seal the flowers to the candle. So this is how mine looks once it's all complete. I just really love the simplicity of it. I think it's a really beautiful natural home decor piece just to make a cozy. I did add a wood slice under mine but you can add a candle holder or a tray or something under yours if you prefer. So, I really hope you all enjoy this video.
