Required Education
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree (preferred) in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
Required Related Experience
Previously developed or worked on a team that developed a Salesforce Org. Worked on developing and implementing a CRM. Database development/administration and experience in project management.
Required License/Registration/Certification
Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, walking, working at a computer for extended periods.

Job Summary
The System Architect is responsible for constructing the Salesforce Org architecture for the Cooperative Extension enterprise solution. This role involves interfacing with multiple Extension and IT professionals to provide professional expertise and feedback in building the CRM.

The primary focus will be aligning CRM assets with Extension-related strategic goals and end products. The System Architect will develop:

  • Roadmaps
  • Prioritize improvements independently
  • Collaborate with the Extension Salesforce Operations team to execute developed processes

Additionally, this role contributes to, coordinates the work of, and trains others initially using the CRM.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
One or more of the following certificates: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, and Technical Architect are preferred.

Preferred Education/Experience
Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
