The design / methodology that was adopted in this article involves presentation of an hypothetical model which shows sustainable edu-tourist indusrty in Malaysia as a dependent variable been influenced by two (2) sets of independent variables: policy strategies, and instruments, including, the mediating influence of attitude of Malaysian towards internaional edu-tourists between Malaysian edu-tourist policy strategies, and instruments, and sustainable edu-tourist industry in Malaysia. These variables, whether consciously or unconsciously influence the choice of Malaysia as a preferred edu-tourist destination country among international edu-tourists. The limitations of this study stem from the nature of the study itself. The study integrate factors identified in existing literature that influence sustainable edu-tourist industry in other countries, hence, replicate same in the context of Malaysia. Future research on the subject in Malaysia context will examine the existing relationships among the aforementioned variables. In particular, it will give and analyse the weight of each factor and the relative importance of each element for the factor it belongs. Therefore, determining the relative importance of each element and factors they belong would constitute an important source of information for future work on sustainable edu-tourist industry in Malaysia. Since, there are few studies which try to examine the influence of policy strategies, and instruments, including, the mediating effects of attitudes of Malaysian towards internaional edu-tourists between edu-tourist policy strategies, and instruments, and sustainable edu-tourist industry in Malaysia from an integrated point of view, this paper contributes to bridging the gap.

It also established dimensions that determined edu-tourists' decision at each stage of the choice process. A modified synthesis model was adapted and used to develop the contemporary edu-tourism destination choice model (CEDCM). The research sampled 500 postgraduate and undergraduate international edu-tourists in 13 Malaysias' public and private universities using a survey questionnaire. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) supported by Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS) was used to validate the CEDCM model. The research reveals that the three hypotheses in the study are significant. Thus it provides significant implications for the government of Malaysia, the ministry of tourism, and higher education including the managers of Malaysia's education institutions in order to leapfrog the Malaysia's tourism sector.

Harcourt are less minded on the organizational antecedents of workplace deviant behaviour. This s... more Harcourt are less minded on the organizational antecedents of workplace deviant behaviour. This study proposed an integrated model that explains the relationship between organizational predators and workplace deviant behaviour (OP-WDB) in the hotel industry in Port Harcourt. The study used a structured questionnaire and sampled 138 hotel staff in Port Harcourt. Pearson Moment Correlation analysis was used. The result shows that four of the six organisational predictors have a positive and significant relationship with deviant behaviour in respect of hotels in Port Harcourt. The F-statistic was statistically significant indicating a valid model. It is recommended that hotel managers should promote the cordial relationship between managers and their subordinates for enhanced employee's civility behaviour. In addition, hotel owners and managers should formulate policies that can forestall a positive hotel work climate for employees. Once more, hotel managers should ensure that daily employee's activities are scientifically measured to avert cases of work overload. Finally, hotel managers should lead by example and ensure that employees' trust in management is total. Contribution/Originality: This study contributes to the literature on workplace deviance in the hotel industry. The research proposed and validated an integrated model that explains the relationship between organisational predators and workplace deviant behaviour (OP-WDB) in an emerging country. The study increased the explanatory power of the OP-WDB model in explaining the social exchange theory. 1. INTRODUCTION Deviant workplace behaviour (DWB) is a prevalent and costly phenomenon for organizations including the hotel industry. Studies have shown that deviant workplace behaviour not only cost organizations substantial amount of money annually but have negative and psychological consequences for employees as well (McCardle, 2007; Milkovich and Newman, 2008; Baharom et al., 2017). Deviant workplace behaviour in this context refers to voluntary behaviour that violates significant organizational norms and, in so doing, threatens the well-being of the organization or its members (Bennett and Robinson, 2000; Johnson and Indvik, 2001). It was reported that employees accounted for a higher percentage of retail thefts than did customers (Appelbaum et al., 2007

To achieve this objective, questionnaire was used to collect data from 106 each of front office staff and customers of selected hotels in Benin City, Nigeria. Multiple regression analysis method was used for the analysis of the data collected. Result shows that service quality has indirect effect on the relationship between employee's empowerment and customer satisfaction in hotel industry in Benin City. This implies that employee's empowerment did not ordinarily translate to customer satisfaction in Hotel industry without offering of quality service. It was concluded that empowered front line staff triggers quality service delivery, and quality service offered to customers ensure their satisfaction. Furthermore, it was suggested that emphasis on the right service culture, and organisational structure that promote meaning, competence, self-determination, and impact should be encouraged among the front office staff in Hotel industry. This will ensure that quality service that could translate to customer satisfaction is delivered. Limitations in this study include that only the front office staff in hotel industry was focused, thus, did not consider other contact staff in other departments. Hotels in Benin City was investigated in the current study, the sample population could be extended to hotels in other local government areas and major towns in Edo State, hence, provides better information and results.
