Internet has become everyday utility. Internet is ubiquitous. All the devices including household... more Internet has become everyday utility. Internet is ubiquitous. All the devices including household devices are connected to the Internet. Layer approach is used for the design of Internet. Layered approach is robust but is designed for wired networks. Cross-layer approach is examined extensively in mobile networks because of the layered approach inability to provide the required performance. There are many tradeoffs associated with the use of Cross-layer approach. It breaches the basic principles of layered approach and may compromise the robust nature of the Internet. But with wide use of multimedia applications and mobile devices, we cannot continue to use layered approach as it is. In this paper justification the role of Cross-layer approach is presented, and critical analysis of it is done to identify its limitations.

With the rapid development of the new edge discipline sports biomechanics, modelling and simulati... more With the rapid development of the new edge discipline sports biomechanics, modelling and simulation of human motion as one of the cutting-edge research topics in sports biomechanics is receiving more and more attention. Based on the establishment of the three-dimensional simulation system model of human knee joint and the analysis of buckling motion, this paper uses the three-dimensional image registration knee joint motion analysis method to carry out the research on knee flexion movement to solve the knee joint injury problem of sprinters. The results showed that medial collateral ligament injury and meniscus injury were more common in all types of knee joint injuries, accounting for 24% respectively 7% and 22.4%. The incidence of lateral collateral ligament injury was relatively small, accounting for only 5.6%. And the research shows that the foot strength curve recognition method based on biomechanics sprinters knee joint simulation model is an advanced and complete strategy to reduce sprinters knee joint injury, and it can achieve better results in sprinters knee joint nursing.

Congestion occurs when one part of subnet becomes overloaded. The means of moderating the traffic in the networks is referred as congestion control. This paper critically analyses various issues behind congestion in various networks and various techniques to avoid and prevent from congestion and to efficiently control the congestion in the networks. This paper essentially focuses on the future networks posing various challenges and exposed issues regarding congestion control.

Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) is one of the TCP/IP protocol stack transport protoco... more Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) is one of the TCP/IP protocol stack transport protocol. In this paper we aim for improving the video transmission rates by significantly enhancing the SCTP protocol frame structures. We make use of SCTP multi-streaming feature for determining various frame formats that defines the effective transmission. The proposed unidirectional delay technique is used to find the time lag occurred in transmission and thereby resolves the problem by resending the lost packets in a single SCTP association. This can broadcast the lost packets by differentiating the arrival of lost packet, before and after timeout. Enhanced SCTP (ESCTP) also increases the video quality of the transmission frames along with the throughput. By simulations, we observe that ESCTP can perform better than the standard retransmission approach that creates redundancies of data and can limit the time needed for retransmission.

This effect on diverse quality requirements such as delay, bandwidth, jitter, and reliability. Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) allows two hosts to establish a connection and switch streams of data. User Datagram Protocol (UDP) is a connectionless protocol that is used mainly for low-latency applications. In-Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) we can transmit several data streams between two endpoints when a network connection established at the same time. Due to the various constraints such as mobility, flexibility, and reliability, TCP and UDP don't perform well in ad hoc networks. This paper gives the performance evaluation of TCP, UDP, and SCTP regarding various quality metrics using ns2. Simulation results prove that SCTP performs better than TCP and UDP regarding throughput, jitter, loss rate, packet delivery ratio, and end-to-end delay in ad hoc networks.
