The Hoople is a 1974 album by British band Mott the Hoople. The album peaked in the UK Albums Chart at No. 11, whilst its highest chart rating in the US was No. 28. A remastered and expanded version was released by Sony BMG on the Columbia Legacy label in Europe in 2006. It was the only album to feature guitarist Ariel Bender (who replaced Mick Ralphs following his departure to form Bad Company), and the last album to feature vocalist Ian Hunter before his departure for a solo career.
The album's cover features a stylised portrait of Kari-Ann Muller (with the band members in her hair), who also graces the cover of Roxy Music's 1972 debut album.

Mott the Hoople is a 1966 novel by Willard Manus, now out of print and best remembered as providing the name for an English rock group of the early 1970s.
According to the 1966 review of the novel in Kirkus Reviews, "Hooples, to clear this up right at the beginning, 'make the whole game possible, Christmas Clubs especially, politics, advertising agencies, pay toilets, even popes and mystery novels.' Obviously they're squares and Mott, Norman Mott, is certainly not...."
Norman Mott is a misfit, a lazy rebel without a cause who dislikes work and borrows money from his girlfriend Sandra. Mott believes life is a "bad comic opera." In order to avoid real work, he engages in various scams and gambles.
Mott is a lousy gambler which means he must keep up his scams. His one virtue is his love for his handicapped brother, whom he tries to take care of in his fashion.
To evade the draft and avoid being sent to Vietnam, Mott keeps on the move. He becomes a ticket seller at a state fair where he becomes involved with the denizens of the freak show and engages in various con games. When drafted, he refuses to be inducted into the Army and is sentenced to prison.

Ohio is the debut studio album by American rapper Stalley. The album was released on October 27, 2014, by Maybach Music Group and Atlantic Records. The album features guest appearances from Nipsey Hussle, Rick Ross, August Alsina, Ty Dolla Sign, Rashad and De La Soul. The album was supported by the singles "Always Into Something", "Jackin' Chevys" and "One More Shot".
In July 2012, Stalley announced he had begun recording his debut album, saying: "We're workin' on an album right now. I'm in the studio. I just got in there about a week ago, so it's a whole big process. Right now, I'm thinking maybe top of the year would be the album. I definitely just take [Rick Ross and Wale's] energy, and I definitely watch their energy and watch how they do things. I'm very observant of how they set up their albums and set up their singles and things like that, being that it's all new to me. That's great company to keep and great people to watch."
On August 22, 2014, he announced the album would be titled Ohio in a vlog, saying: "The sound of my current music is intelligent truck music. It’s a sound that’s built for the cars. But you can also enjoy it in your headphones, your computer or however you want to listen to it. Me, growing up, I rode around listening to music. It was kind of like the soundtrack my days or wherever I was going."
Ohio is a double studio album, their seventh overall, by Over the Rhine, released in 2003. The album was released as both a double CD and limited edition double vinyl LP set.
One additional song from these sessions, "Last Night On Earth Again" was released on the Discount Fireworks compilation, albeit in a re-recorded version.
All songs written by Karin Bergquist and/or Linford Detweiler.
Wooohooo.....
She doesn't have to say - she only has to look
I think she sees through me - reads me like a book
And I'm in love with her, and she's in love with me
And the love goes sailin' on - across the stormy seas.
Mmmmm, I got my babe, Mmmmm, I got my babe,
She's a right-on child, she goes smilin'
Woohooo....Woohooo
Sometimes I go over the line, she has to bring me down,
And the pride pulls heavy, makes some evil sounds.
But I'm in love with her, and she's in love with me
And the sea runs calmer now, I kiss the love that sleeps.
Mmmm, I got my babe, Mmmm I got my babe,
She's a right-on child, she goes smilin'
O-O-Oh....O-O-Oh
Mmmm, I got my babe, Mmmm I got my babe,
Mmmm, I got my babe, Mmmm I got my babe,
Mmmm, I got my babe, Mmmm I got my babe,
Mmmm, I got my babe, Mmmm I got my babe
O-O-Oh....O-O-Oh
