The nature of all things is that they want to feel whole. Nature itself craves wholeness, craves balance, that’s why it’s actually not that good that the Alder Court was completely abandoned by the other fair fae courts. It took a piece from the whole. It’s a wound that needs to be closed to restore complete balance and satisfy nature.
My little brother was a really cute baby/toddler and I remember that my cousin, who is a bit older than me, was obsessed with him as a child (always carrying him around and hold him on her lap when she got the chance) and I just think it would be funny if it’s the same with Callan and Talon in the au where they are cousins xD

I just remembered a post I made once about the old story version where Henry had the backstory of Callan’s father (you know, king, dead wife and a child to care for)
where I said Aiden would stop mid-rant at Henry for leaving him behind and disappearing without a word by excitedly exclaiming “a baby!!!!!! :D” when spotting Celene.
I still think that would be so funny. Anger instantly forgotten at the sight of a cute baby (very in character) xD
I think that old version did have a certain appeal. Especially if you take the version where Callan is still there too and Henry’s dead wife was his sister

When Henry and Callan decide to have Celene, someone’s gotta explain the whole process of a Wishling’s birth to Aiden and though I know Maya already told him a little about it, it would be so funny if Talon would be the one to explain it to him.
Aiden would be like “so everyone could do this, right? Even like, you and me?” And it’s just some throwaway sentence on his side but Talon shows off the blush of the century because of it.
I think the biggest reason why I don’t make writing progress (beside me finding myself staring at a blank word document for a majority of my writing time) is that I can’t for the life of me stop editing while I’m writing. I can’t write a sentence and leave it as that, never looking back, I immediately try to change it if I’m not satisfied. I hate that but can’t turn it off 😭
