Pelestarian ini memerlukan jaminan, baik yang langsung dapat dimanfaatkannya untuk mendukung pelestarian tersebut, antara lain berupa kebutuhan materiil dan spiritual, maupun yang tidak memberikan jaminan kepastian dan pengayoman, seperti lazimnya dalam hal jaminan yang berupa ketentuan moral maupun hukum.

It surely goes without saying that Charles Parsons is one of the most important philosophers of mathematics in our generation. Through his many publications and his teaching and lecturing, he has spawned and influenced a large body of historically sensitive work in the philosophy of mathematics and an equally large body of philosophically sensitive work in the history of the philosophy of mathematics. This is Parsons' fourth book. It and From Kant to Husserl (Harvard University Press, 2012) collect together most of his essays on other philosophers, with the exception of those essays reprinted in his earlier collection, Mathematics in Philosophy (Ithaca, New York, Cornell University Press, 1983). As indicated by its title, the essays in the present book are on philosophers whose work appeared primarily, or entirely, in the twentieth century. All but one of the essays have been published elsewhere. It is good to have them collected here, for at least two reasons. First, some of the essays appear in collections that are not readily available, including volumes honoring some of the authors discussed, which are sources that are notoriously hard to acquire. Second, and more important, it is interesting and helpful to see similar ideas and themes developed in different contexts. Four of the essays have new postscripts.

In this paper, we present recursive formulae for the ruin probability at or before a certain claim arrival instant for some particular continuous time risk model. The claim number process underlying this risk model is a renewal process with either Erlang or a mixture of exponentials inter-claim times (ICTs). The claim sizes (CSs) are independent and distributed in Erlang's family, i.e., they can have different parameters, which yields a non-homogeneous risk process. We present the corresponding recursive algorithm used to evaluate the above mentioned ruin probability and we illustrate it on several numerical examples in which we vary the model's parameters to assess the impact of the non-homogeneity on the resulting ruin probability.

Il presente contributo intende affrontare due problemi, rispettivamente di diritto internazionale privato e processuale e di diritto penale, che possono venire in rilievo quando una coppia italiana si reca all’estero per ricorrere alla maternità surrogata. Sotto il primo profilo, la trascrizione dell’atto di nascita validamente formato all’estero potrebbe essere rifiutata dall’ufficiale di stato civile per presunta contrarietà all’ordine pubblico. La nozione di ordine pubblico è presa in considerazione alla luce della rilevante giurisprudenza nazionale. Inoltre, si considera il possibile rilievo che due recenti sentenze della Corte europea dei diritti dell’uomo potrebbero avere sulla nozione stessa e, di conseguenza, sull’effettiva possibilità di ottenere la trascrizione degli atti di nascita di cui si è detto. Sotto il secondo profilo, si potrebbe configurare il reato di alterazione di stato. Anche in questo caso sono analizzati i contrastanti orientamenti della giurisprudenza nazionale sul punto e sono svolte alcune considerazioni circa la legittimità o meno del ricorso alla sanzione penale in casi siffatti.
