This research aims to explore the development of self-concept in students, with a focus on the main stages of cognitive development defined by Jean Piaget. The development of self-concept is an important element in developmental psychology because it influences various aspects of life, such as academic achievement, social relationships, and emotional health. A positive self-concept can increase students' learning motivation and activeness in the learning process. The three stages of cognitive development studied are the pre-operational stage (ages 2 to 7 years), the concrete operational stage (ages 7 to 11 years), and the formal operational stage (ages 11 years and above). This research applies a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. The research sample consisted of three students aged 5 years (preoperational), 8 years (concrete operational), and 19 years (formal operational). The research results show that at the age of 5 years, children are in the pre-operational stage with a simple self-concept, focused on physical characteristics and the activities they can do. At the age of 8 years, children enter the concrete operational stage with a more complex self-concept, including psychological characteristics and social comparisons. They begin to understand personality traits and make social comparisons that influence their self-esteem. At the age of 19 years, individuals are at the formal operational stage, with a structured and reflective self-concept. They are able to understand identity in depth, integrate experiences and social influences, and evaluate themselves objectively. This research shows significant development of self-concept in accordance with Piaget's theory of cognitive development, where each stage of development is characterized by an increasingly complex and integrated understanding of self.

Kematangan karir memang penting dimiliki dalam diri setiap individu khususnya pada peserta didik di SMA. Kematangan karir berkaitan dengan kesiapan dalam proses karir dan cita-cita peserta didik di masa depan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsep diri terhadap kematangan karir peserta didik SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Pacitan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex-post-facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Pacitan dengan total 3952 peserta didik. Ukuran sampel dalam penelitian ini 371 peserta didik yang ditentukan dengan teknik multi stage proportional random sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan skala. Teknik validitas menggunakan validitas isi. Teknik realibilitas menggunakan alpha cronbach. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh konsep diri terhadap kematangan karir peserta didik. Sehingga perilaku konsep diri yang ditunjukkan pada peserta didik dapat mempengaruhi tingkat kematangan karir yang dimiliki.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh pendidikan karakter terhadap konsep diri peserta didik di SMK Ganesa Satria 2 Depok. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan survey korelasional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Sedangkan sampel penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 100 peserta didik di SMK Ganesa Satria 2 Depok. Analisis pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji regresi linier, dengan hasil uji hipotesis terdapat pengaruh pendidikan karakter terhadap pembentukan konsep diri peserta didik. Dari hasil penelitian berdampak pada adanya peningkatan penerapan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter oleh guru dalam pembelajaran di kelas sebagai upaya membentuk konsep diri positif bagi peserta didik. The method used in this study is to use correlational surveys with sampling techniques using simple random sampling. While the sample of this study were 100 students at SMK Ganesa Satria 2 Depok. Hypothesis testing analysis using linear regression test, with the results of the hypothesis test there is the influence of character education on the formation of students' self-concept. From the results of the study have an impact on an increase in character education when the tacher give the lesson in class as an effort to form positive self concept of students.

This research is a correlational study that connects the concepts of self with the learners critical thinking ability on the ecosystem material. Samples of the research of 30 students as participants with sampling techniques purposive sampled. The research instruments used include questionnaires adopted from the Tennessee Self Concept Scale (TSCS) developed by William H. Fitts and a breakdown test for measuring critical thinking skills. The self-concept questionnaire consisted of 43 statements. Each item has an alternate answer indicating the degree of conformity or inconsistency with self-subject. Alternative answers consist of 5 options, i.e. very appropriate (SS), corresponding (S), uncertain (TP), unsuitable (TS), and very inappropriate (STS). The success of a teacher is closely related to the ability in comprehending the students’ growth and their development. Whilst, student development that was defined as a gradual progressive measured and coherent changes becomes one important thing psychologically stresses on comprehension of the basic process and dynamic behavior of the student. If not, trouble with education can’t be avoided as misdirection and disorientation. Hence, Islamic education seeks to integrate the student development that covers the whole biopsikososiospriritual. The effort is to guide and develop their potency as of they will be able to present the ilahiah values. This article regards the student dimension development as a holistic process in hope that learning can be carried out effectively.

Salah satu tipe karakteristik afektif yang penting dalam pendidikan matematika adalah konsep diri matematika. Konsep diri matematika mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Seorang pendidik perlu mengetahui konsep diri matematika siswa untuk mengembangkannya ke arah yang lebih positif. Pufendorf, seja àquelas que Colin Heydt chamou de "éticas práticas" da Grã-Bretanha do século XVIII, as quais consistiam, principalmente, em obras que tinham por objetivo orientar a conduta do leitor. Trataremos, em nosso trabalho, de fazer uma análise dos argumentos de Hume que dê a devida atenção ao fato de o autor, ao longo de seu Do Suicídio, adotar, por razões estratégicas, certas posições deístas. A partir daí, será possível não apenas compreender quais são, afinal, os alvos que Hume tem em vista ao redigir esse ensaio controverso, mas, também a maneira como filósofo torna suas considerações sobre o tema parte de um ataque ferrenho à superstição, atrelado ao esforço de separar moralidade e religião. Nesse sentido, Hume estaria, no que diz respeito ao tema do suicídio, em desacordo com as maneiras mais comuns como o tema era visto à época, aproximando-se, por outro lado, de certas pretensões que eram comuns em pensadores deístas da Grã-Bretanha dezoitista. Recorreremos, para isso, tanto ao próprio Do Suicídio quanto a outros dos Ensaios Morais, Políticos e Literários e a textos como Uma Investigação sobre o Entendimento Humano, a História Natural da Religião e os Diálogos sobre a Religião Natural, além de estudos por parte de comentadores relevantes.

Mendiskusikan isu perempuan dan anak-anak tidak hanya bicara tentang keamanan 'negara' melainkan juga berkaitan dengan keamanan 'manusia'. Keamanan manusia juga berkaitan di dalamnya dengan perdagangan dan perbudakan. Perjalanan sejarah menjelaskan bahwa perdagangan manusia berakar pada zaman kerajaan dan juga kolonialsme yang dikenal dengan era perbudakan.

Article type: Research Article One of the premises of the argument from design is the need for the order of a designer. This premise has been explained in various ways, one of which is the calculus of probabilities. It posits that the likelihood of an ordered thing coming into existence by chance is so low that human beings consider it nearly impossible; therefore, this order requires an intelligent designer. However, some contemporary Muslim philosophers, such as Ayatollah Jawādī Āmulī, along with certain Western philosophers, have contested the validity of the calculus of probabilities. They argue that the calculus of probabilities does not reveal reality but is merely practically useful. They assert that undesigned states have the same probability as designed states. In this article, I address these objections, refute them, and ultimately demonstrate the soundness of the argument from design based on the calculus of probabilities.
