De fa�on liminaire, on pourrait dire que le risque appara�t comme th�matique majeure en dualit� de la valorisation exacerb�e de l'int�r�t individuel � la fin du XX� si�cle. C'est donc � ce titre que nos soci�t�s attribuent une valeur normative au risque (cf. U. Beck ). A l'int�r�t, d'ordre individualiste, r�pondrait le risque, d'ordre g�n�raliste dans une perspective � la fois cognitive et affective. Le risque ne peut �tre � pens� � que dans le cadre d'une id�ologie individualiste, car il appara�t en m�me temps que l'Autre. En d'autres termes, sans l'Autre, pas de risque possible. A une anthropologie philosophique individualiste construite sur l'int�r�t r�pond donc une anthropologie g�n�rale et une h�ro�sation de celui qui prend les risques, dans le cadre de ce que l'on pourrait qualifier d'esth�tique du risque.
