Cultural, Social and Economic Aspects for Greening of Surface Mining Landscapes

This paper will feature the Masbate Gold Mining that covers 2,477 hectares and started last 2008 and up to the present for the mining operation, which covers natural landscape ecology being altered and destroyed. An example of unsustainable and unethical mining within the ecological aspect which will become a global challenges, and perhaps, restoration is not possible violating RA 7942 policy.

In addition of increasing technical difficulties, with the introduction of mining more and more deeper, to the management of a mining activity, for extraction and processing of mineral raw materials, today are added the challenge of environment protection and society values increasing. Assessment of the expected environmental impacts of a mining activity is today a challenge for environmental specialists. Based on the best experience of the world and our country, we bring on this paper the expected impacts on the environment by mining activities. Seeing the environmental project, as an integral part in three phases of the mining project: the stage of project preparation; during the mining activities for the exploitation of mineral deposit; and after closing the mining activity, emphasize the need for a continuous cooperation between mine owners, the community living and working in the area mining, and environmental protection institution.

The extracting industry, through its extraction activities, of shipping the ores, of breaking the ores, of preparing the practical substances, of stowing the useless rock, of transporting the practical substances, etc. might modify the area’s relief and the quality of ground, of the surface waters and of the air. Suceava County has an old tradition of mining, where the results of this activity are visible, especially the visual point of view, and where not taking certain measures of ecological remediation will emphasize the disappointing image of the landscape within the areas of mining activity performing. The predominant mountainous landscape, in which mining activities have been held, is being affected also by the abandoned industrial and administrative buildings, in an advanced degradation state. The hydrographic system, very rich in mining areas, has its water quality affected by the acid rock drainage- phenomenon which appeared in many mining waste deposits.

Les PME en phase de développement sont exposées à deux catégories de risque à savoir le risque entrepreneurial et le risque managérial. Ce dernier est lié à l’informalité de la gestion de celle-ci. Dans les Pme camerounaises, on note une mauvaise organisation des activités, l’absence d’un système d’information et la déficience en outils permettant de mieux prévoir et d’assurer le pilotage de l’entreprise. Face à cela, l’opportunité de passer des leviers informels de contrôle vers des systèmes de contrôle formels en occurrence le contrôle de gestion (CDG) constitue une phase décisive pour les PME en quête de performance. L’objectif de l’étude est d’identifier les étapes de structuration du CDG dans les PME en vue d’amorcer la phase de croissance. De ce fait, une étude a été menée auprès de huit (08) PME camerounaises et l’analyse du contenu thématique de chaque cas révèle que la structuration du CDG dans les PME est un processus qui s’effectue par étape successive. Il ressort des analyses que trois types de processus caractérisent l’organisation formelle de la PME à savoir le processus progressif, le processus stationnaire et le processus dit bloquer. Aussi, l’importance de la structuration du CDG doit s’inscrire dans une dynamique de type projet et privilégier une gestion par la compétence au détriment d’une gestion dite familiale.

During public works in 2018 in the town of Banzi, three tombs belonging to the well-known necropolis of “Piano Carbone” were discovered and excavated. The tombs belong to a period ranging from the last quarter of the VII B.C. to the third quarter of the IV B.C. In this Daunian settlement graves were usually reused for further burials over a long period, even up to two centuries. The few burial goods and the peripheral location of the three tombs probably reveal the low social condition of the deads
