This research considers the use of AWS technology with SAP applications and specific address business continuity and disaster recovery. A special emphasis is made on the advantages of the AWS solutions the elasticity, backup with automation and scaling up, the global redundancy, which makes traditional high availability and disaster recovery solutions obsolete. Issues such as integration issues and the cost aspect of integration are highlighted and followed by their solutions. This work shows how the AWS tools enhance the usability of SAP systems in terms of efficiency, extensibility, and fault tolerance in order to maintain business and operational sustainability. The identified information illustrates the numerous benefits obtained from the integration of AWS technologies in the modernization of SAP environments and improving SAP protection from vulnerabilities.

As the leading vendor of enterprise business standard software, SAP has recognized the need to adapt their R/3 system to current trends in software development and to meet market needs for speed of development, flexibility, openness and interoperability. In this paper, we first present SAP's approach to object-oriented and componentbased technology by describing the Business Framework, the concepts of Business Objects, BAPIs, and the Business Object Repository. On this basis, we then analyze current communication architectures and products enabling the interaction of external Java-based software applications with SAP R/3, point out the advantages and disadvantages of different solutions and finally elaborate on potential strategies and steps for driving the evolution of SAP R/3 in order to further increase interoperability, openness and flexibility.

Tool Integration to Support SPEM Model Transformations in Eclipse This paper propose the approach for integrating SPEM modeling tools with the Query/View/Transformation (QVT) tools using Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF). The aim of tool integration is to support the adoption of Model Driven Architecture within the organizations, which currently use "traditional" software development approaches. The software development process lifecycle of organization is supposed to be expressed with the help of OMG SPEM language.
