Engr. Syed Nazim Obayed currently serves as the “Assistant Director – Information Technology & Digital Services (ITDS)” of Central University of Science& Technology (CUST). He has been involved with the CUST since its birth on a very historic day, the 21st February 2016. Prior to his present appointment, he served as a “Coordinating Officer” at the VC’s Office of Central University of Science & Technology (CUST) till December 31,2016. He also proudly holds the position of Assistant Managing Editor of an International Journal, Journal of Asian Science, Technology & Innovation(JASTI) Syed Nazim Obayed served at the Institute of Science, Trade & Technology (ISTT) as an Assistant Professor & acting Head of the Department of Electronics & Communicating Engineering (ECE). During his stay at ISTT, he received an international special training on Modern TVET System as conducted by the world’s prestigious industry-driven polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic International (NYPi) in Singapore. Mr. Obayed started his career through the Teaching Assistantship (TA) in the department of ECE at KUET & served there for six months only. Later, he joined a multinational telecom company, LMEricsson Bangladesh Limited as an Implementation Manager & continued there for three and a half years. Syed Nazim Obayed is a gold medalist for securing first class first position in his department (Batch-06) of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET). Mr. Nazim hails from Narail and happily married to Dr. Noshin Nawal and is blessed with a son named Syed Nahyan.
