In India, women's safety has become a major worry. Women's crime rates in the country have risen drastically. Women, especially late at night, are hesitant to leave their homes. Unfortunately, this is the tragic reality of our country, which is perpetually terrified. Our concept is to develop a smart device that safeguards the safety of women by informing the nearest police station or guardians of their whereabouts in real time. Women's success is essential for a country's growth, but we see a lot of harassment in the path, which is a hindrance to their progress. As a result, we decided to start an initiative that will help millions of women. The most significant benefit of using this safety system is that it provides women the courage to go outside since they can quickly seek assistance from the system if they are in danger. The development of a country is determined not only by its economic progress, but also by the safety of its residents. Individual safety is ensured by effective and timely communication. Parents and guardians may unwind knowing that their children are secure.

The most grim fact in today's world is the rising number of atrocities against women. UN Women supported survey in Delhi shows 95 per cent of women and girls feel unsafe in public spaces. Various studies reveal that one among three of all women and girls experience physical or sexual violence in their lifetime. With the advancement of technology many systems have evolved that serve as an aide to women in dangerous situations. Although there exists many security systems an advanced smart system is a necessity. This paper proposes a smart security device to help women to be safe during times of utmost danger. The device comprises of an Arduino Mega board, various sensors to monitor the body parameter variations, GPS and GSM modules and a high voltage shock circuit. When the device notices an abnormal variations in the body parameters a distress message with location coordinates is sent to registered contacts also the electric shock circuit gets activated and sends shocks to the offender giving a space for the victim to escape.

Women’s safety is one of the significant issues due to rising crimes against women around the world. The number of cases of assault, rape, eve-teasing, and other types of crimes are rising through the years in the state, thereby making it difficult for women to pursue their dreams and latenight jobs on a large scale. To help resolve this issue we propose a GPS-based women’s safety system that has an additional dual security feature in our project. This device consists of a system that ensures dual alerts in case a woman is harassed or she thinks she is in trouble. The device can be turned on in advance by a woman whenever she is walking alone in an empty street or feels she might get attacked. The idea is to design one such device which can be carried anywhere. It will consist of a button that will be easy to press when a woman is in trouble. In today’s world, women and girls still feel unsafe to travel alone whether it is a day or night. Now-a-days women are been attacked by men irrespective of their ages. Women are facing various problems which include robbery/theft, rape, molestation, eve-teasing and various other difficulties. Keeping this in mind, a device has been modeled which offers a hands-on help to the women in danger with a single press of a switch/button. This device helps the women in danger to be easily located with the help of global positioning system (GPS) and also messages and calls are given to alert their respective emergency contacts which are already stored in the microcontroller using global system for mobile communication (GSM). Hence this device serves handy when any women traveling outside feel insecure about her surroundings. The benefit of this system is that it provides the exact location (both longitude and latitude) of the person in danger.

The raising questions on the security of women and children in our country is an obstacle that we need to overcome towards a safer India for its citizens. In such scenarios, women and children feel very helpless. In reference to the unfortunate set of events which opened the eyes of the nation towards the lack an immediate need for the safety of women in the country, there have been multiple efforts to implement different techniques to protect and thereby, assist the victims in such situations. Hence, there must be a system which can protect them with the least amount of complexity and involvement of the individual. The following project aims at improving the existing system by implementing automatic responses instead of the conventional manual method as, in such situations, the victim hardly has any time to provide a manual pre-designed operation. The device requires the following elements; Arduino UNO, GSM, Heart Beat Sensor, Temperature and Humidity sensor along with IOT. In critical situations, the victims have an increased heart rate along with an abrupt increase in body temperature and humidity (body sweat). Hence, the sensors can be used to monitor the following factors until it breaches a predefined value. Upon breaking the set limits, the GSM module will send a pre-defined message to the police and/or family member along with the GPS location which can be coupled with third-party apps like Google Maps. However, for improved functionality, the criteria for emergency contact can be a complex combination of body temperature, humidity and heartbeat of the user. Such method is very helpful for women and children as the device does not require manual operation.

Nowadays, the amount of violence against women has increased by many fold due to the greater exposure of women in every field of life. It has now become a major issue. The crime rate is on the spike. The recent spate of crimes against women, particularly rape instances, has been terrifying. Women's safety in India has become a contentious issue as a result of such crimes. Despite international agreements, new legislation, and gender movement, women continue to be particularly susceptible to assault. Looking towards all these issues, we proposed a device which will be really very helpful to women. The system serves four main purposes, first to send the victim's location to the preprogrammed contact numbers with the help of GPS and GSM. Secondly, she can turn the buzzer on so that nearby people can help her to get out of the situation. Storing the women's pulse rate to ThingSpeak cloud with the help of WiFi ESP8266 and sending the same data to registered contact numbers will be the third main purpose of this device. Along with this the fourth main purpose is that she can give a shock to the abuser just by turning the other switch on and touching the device to the abuser's body so that current will pass through him. That shock will not kill the abuser but women will get a chance to escape from the location.

Women’s safety is a very important issue due to rising crimes against women these days. To help resolve this issue we propose a GPS based women’s safety system that has dual security feature. This system can be turned on by a woman in case she even thinks she would be in trouble. It is useful because once an incident occurs with a woman she may or may not get the chance to press the emergency button. In a button press alerting system, in case a woman is hit on the head from behind, she may never get the chance to press panic button and no one will know she is in trouble. This device is to be turned on in advance by a woman in case she is walking on a lonely road or some dark alley or any remote area. In this case even if someone hits the woman or the woman falls down and get unconscious, she does not need to do anything, the system does not get her finger scan in 1 minute and it automatically starts the dual security.

Every single day women and young girls from all walks of life are being assaulted, molested, and raped. The streets, public transport, public spaces in particular have become the territory of the hunters'. Because of these reasons women can't step out of their house. The only thought haunting in every women`s mind is when they will be able to move freely on the streets even in odd hours without worrying about their security. In critical situations the women will not feel insecure or helpless if they have some kind of safety device with them. We propose to have a device which is the integration of multiple devices, hardware comprises of a wearable "Smart gadget" which continuously communicates with Smart phone that has access to the internet. The complete gadget also ensures to provide self-defence application which helps her to escape critical situations. This system can be used at places like bus stops, railway stations, offices, footpaths, shopping malls, markets, etc. The implementation of the smart gadget is basically split into two sections the first part ensures to capture the image of the Culprit the device get automatically triggered when there is a suspected motion in front of the camera, the device captures the image of the culprit and send it as an attachment to the concerned E-mail Id along with the location of the Victim. The captured image serves as the valid proof against the one who has committed the crime. The second section deals with defence application as we tend concentrate more on providing self-defence for the women in danger. By making self-defence as the first priority we make sure that occurrence of the critical situations are eliminated. The self-defence feature is capable of working in any of the circumstances either it may be with Internet as a Smart Pendant with LED flash that makes an alert call to the family, relatives via the cloud and also glows the led flash on the eyes of the culprit to make the vision blur when the attacker is at the shorter distance. Whereas Self-defence without Internet consists of Electric shock gloves, that is used to provide the electric shocks that diverts the mind of the culprit and reduce his excited state to commit the crime on women. These two factors form the combined self-defence application and helps the victim to escape from the danger

We propose an idea which changes the way everyone thinks about women safety. A day when media broadcasts more of women's achievements rather than harassment, it's a feat achieved! Since we (humans) can't respond aptly in critical situations, the need for a device which automatically senses and rescues the victim is the venture of our idea in this paper. We propose to have a device which is the integration of multiple devices, hardware comprises of a wearable "Smart band" which continuously communicates with Smart phone that has access to the internet. The application is programmed and loaded with all the required data which includes Human behavior and reactions to different situations like anger, fear and anxiety. This generates a signal which is transmitted to the smart phone. The software or application has access to location of women and Messaging services which is pre-programmed in such a way that whenever it receives emergency signal, it can send help request along with the location coordinates to the nearest Police station, relatives and the people in the near radius who have application. This action enables help instantaneously from the Police as well as Public in the near radius who can reach the victim with great accuracy.

Women safety becomes the topmost priority of Indian governmen, as considering the increasing number of crime against women.Thus,it seems necessacy to take a step against the crime.In today's world, people are using smart phones a lot and hence, we are making use of smart phone for the security purpose.The unique feature of this application is to send message to the contacts which has beed registered.After the button clicked on the device,the application can continuous track the location of user who is in danger. Study of crime data can help us analyze crime pattern and important hidden relations between the crimes.

This Paper presents a women safety detection system using GPS and GSM modems. The system can be interconnected with the alarm system and alert the neighbours. This detection and messaging system is composed of a GPS receiver, Microcontroller and a GSM Modem. GPS Receiver gets the location information from satellites in the form of latitude and longitude. The Microcontroller processes this information and this processed information is sent to the user using GSM modem A GSM modem is interfaced to the MCU. The GSM modem sends an SMS to the predefined mobile number. When a woman is in danger and in need of self-defence then she can press the switch which is allotted to her. By pressing the switch, the entire system will be activated then immediately a SMS will be sent to concern person with location using GSM and GPS.
