The practice and character of biblical hermeneutics, tied as they are to cultural history, are presently undergoing a postmodern phase of reassessing a long hermeneutic development. This history of interpretation began with the premodern theological
The development of the agricultural learning activities through community participation: a case study of Kasetsart University Laboratory School, Kamphaeng Sean Campus Apidet Changchai, Sunti Srisuantang and Prasong Tanpichai: 2017 Abstract This action research aimed to 1) enhance the agricultural learning activities through community participation; 2) investigate the effects of applying agricultural learning activities through community participation; and 3) reflect the effects of applying agricultural learning activities through community participation. There were 3 phases of research methods: 1) planning of the development of agricultural learning activities through community participation, i.e., 2 groups of participants (School participants were the researcher, 2 administrators, and 4 teachers. The community participants were 4 parents, and 4 agricultural guest speakers in the community that were accepted by people in the community); 2) acting and observing the effects of using agricultural learning activities through community participation, i.e., there were 3 groups of participants (105 Mathayomsuksa II students of Kasetsart University Laboratory School, Kamphaeng Sean Campus, the researcher, and 7 agricultural guest speakers; and 3) reflecting the effects of processes and development of agricultural learning activities through community participation, i.e., there were 2 groups of participants (School participants were the researcher, 2 administrators, and 4 teachers, while the community participants were 4 parents, and 4 agricultural guest speakers in the community that were accepted by people in the community. Quantitative and qualitative data collections were applied into this investigation. t-test was used for quantitative data analysis, while the content analysis was applied for the qualitative data. The findings revealed that: 1) agricultural learning activities calling “integrated agricultural learning activities” was arisen from the development of agricultural learning activities through community participation, and the contents were animal farming, tree planting, agricultural product processing, and agricultural business management in the community; 2) there were 3 achievements of the effects of using agricultural learning activities through community participation, i.e., a) knowledge base, comparing means scores before and after participating in the agricultural learning activities revealed that there was a significant difference at 0.05; b) group acting skills base, the means scores of the students were good; and c) students’ satisfactory after participating the agricultural learning activities was in the very good level; and 3) reflecting the effects of processes and development of agricultural learning activities through community participation revealed that managing agricultural learning activities through community participation were a) a good approach to assist the students to have an opportunity to learn various knowledge from learning resources and guest speakers in the community; and b) suggestions were to promote such opportunities for people in the community to participate to plan to organize education together in order to gear into the same direction, and it was important to use such learning activities, emphasizing learning by doing. Key words: Agricultural education, Learning activity, Community Participation
The advancement of technology in domestic comfort specially indoor circulation of conditioned air has resulted in an escalation of household energy consumptions in India specially in summer and due to extensive use of cooling load. Due to high demand for cooling, a country wide energy crisis is witnessed during this time. In this research, a solar water heating of a residential house using the abundant and universal sources is proposed for a residentials house in India for mitigating this energy shortage and for offering a sustainable solution to the problem. The paper presents a mathematical model of the house on TRNSYS simulation software along with the simulation results of coupling of the several components operating in parallel with the cooling systems. The results demonstrated that, the proposed model of household solar cooling system may be satisfactory used for a residential house or HVAC systems in Indian scenario. The system was modelled using TRNSYS software and its components to represent the various parts of the solar heating system. Assumptions, modelling of different components and their limitations of simulations have been depicted as per the requirement of the proposed research work.
The conservation of energy is an essential step we can all take towards overcoming the mounting problems of the worldwide energy crisis and environmental degradation. In particular, developing countries are interested in increasing their awareness of inefficient power generation and energy usage in their countries.
This article suggests a new conceptual framework for understanding why some types of work are experienced in more satisfying ways than others. The analysis is based on research in an Indian scrap metal yard, where work entails disassembling things that other people no longer want. In spite of the demanding conditions of the labor and the social stigma attached to it, employees express satisfaction with the work process. This observation raises questions about theories of labor, which see satisfaction as arising from work that is creative, skilled, and task-based. The article argues that transformation is a social process that should be used as the primary analytic for explaining work satisfaction. Theories of creativity, skill, and task are secondary analytics that describe subsets of transformative action. Open Access: https://doi.org/10.3167/sa.2020.640305
