O artigo faz uma breve análise da produção em têxtil da artista Sonia Delaunay, que por fugir aos parâmetros modernistas, frequentemente foi deixada de lado pela História da Arte. Sonia, ao lado do marido, Robert Delaunay, explorava a justaposição de blocos de cor, que o casal denominava Simultaneísmo. Neste trabalho, focamos no transbordamento do Simultaneísmo para o trabalho de Sonia com roupas e estampas, bem como as questões sociais que envolveram e determinaram sua produção.

The article compares the comfort of wearing a thong and T-front panties. The comparison is based on a questionnaire survey of more than 700 female users of these types of underwear. Statistical analysis of the results shows statistically significant wearing comfort differences between the two styles.

The aim of the study was to show the principles of nonverbal communication achieved with clothing by using Roman Jakobson's linguistic method. As demonstrated and established here, clothes and their functions can be translated into verbal and written language. The language of fashion, costume and stage design can be analysed in terms of their function and symbolism. Based on the language function scheme, clothing can be interpreted as the language of communication and as a system. Using purely linguistic methods, examples of various clothing analyses demonstrate the clothing function as a visual sign system, which is equal to the linguistic sign system, language and communication. Different kinds of communication can be achieved through garments, as explained by the examples and discussion selected and described.

BETWEEN MODERN AND GLAMOROUS – FASHION ILLUSTRATIONS BY MILENA PAVLOVIĆ BARILLI
Fashion illustration by Milena Pavlović Barili has long been a poorly explored segment of her short but intense artistic creation. By the time of its development and main features, Milena’s fashion illustration is divided into several stages, which are strictly related to the place of residence of the artist and her personal maturation as a painter. The period of Milena’s interest in fashion illustration coincides with profound social and artistic changes during the third decade of the 20th century when Milena begins her education. The fashion illustration created during the 1920s is characterized by the art deco style and carries the spirit of the new time - the changing gender roles and the new position of women in society. Milena adopts current forms of artistic expression in order to express her vision of the fashion concept of the Garson style,
which at the very beginning is highly linear, flat, and dedicated to the creation itself. The figure of the model is reduced by reducing all female attributes, free from all traditional norms in the aesthetic design and vision of a woman. At a mature stage, which follows the years of schooling in Belgrade, the artist displays women’s models and designs equally artistic, and the woman gets the attributes of the ,,lady” because of the elegant line of the figure. Not leaving the current Garson style, Milena in the last years of the third decade gives a new and fresh form of fashion illustration. More mature years and higher aesthetic experience allowed artists to boldly embark on a current fashion illustration for the cover of the magazine or posters. Milena’s modern woman with
illustrations has become elegant, unusual, but everyday, accessible, but still untouchable. The concept of fashion illustration at this stage placed the woman in a center of attention as a powerful fashion icon, which places itself through clothes, the shape of the hairstyle, the makeup,
leaving space for recognizing everyone’s individuality through a hidden view. Milena Pavlović Barili is not only a painter; she is also an illustrator, modiste, but not according to the currently set trends. She is the bearer of a new spirit of her time, who sees a woman as a strong personality, self-sustaining and selfless, propagating her as such through her illustrations and her own life.
