Amazon asks if this met my expectations. In this instance, it is better to not have any special expectations. This brief collection of recalled conversations & interviews between Burr & the author doesn't go into great depth, & is not by any stretch a detailed or rigorously researched biography. There is a loose organization and flow across the various aspects, which is fair enough, again if you don't expect too much, driven by the author's own sense of historical or topical significance. Overall, it is a tribute to & appreciation of Burr, whom the author clearly admired & respected. So, the 4 stars I rated it are based on accepting it for what it is. Some bits of background information I never knew, in a favorable casting. Worth the inexpensive price & nice light quick reading.
