  There are times my battery is low and I need to make a call. The cable for my Samsung is at the bottom of the phone and consequently when charging it's impossible to stand it up. I bought this 90 degree connector in the hope it would avoid that issue and it does!!!! I can easily charge the phone and have it on a stand. For the low price as well, I couldn't see the problem in taking a chance.
  
  There are 2 x 90 degree connectors and they come in a foam padded small hinged tin box which was a surprise. Usually things like this usually just slipped in a small zip locked bag but these are more nicely packed. The connectors also don't look cheap and nasty like some.
  
  The 90 degree elbow extends about 9mm (@ 3/8") below the phone which I think is more than acceptable.
