Dreams of the Days is a pretty quick read that has some really cute and funny moments but also some questionable ones that kind of hinder it in ways that really set it back from being among the greats. The whole time reading one thinks it will end with some sort of three way pairing of sorts since the three characters in question have basically wet dreams about each other but in the end only two end up together while another is just plain forgotten and basically just not mentioned anymore. At the end you kind of wonder is there a sequel or something but there isn’t. That character did have a questionable dream that someone did call him out for on some secret forum but it would have been interesting to explore if he could have ended up with the lead character and been able to have a healthy normal relationship with him.
For the main couple they go through the normal BL manga situations, dreaming about each other, wondering if they are gay or not, experimenting with a kiss, getting the hots at school and jumping right into the bathroom for a make out sessions, and then the usual I know love you blahblahblah lets move in together happy ending. Basically it’s the BL manga at its most basic happy level with the only drama happening at the start with the character coming to grips with his pretty looks.
I did like the touch of how it is to be gay in the school and public and the challenges they faced as it added an element of realism to things and something to at least get them thinking, and perhaps made it relatable to some readers since it the character basically was like his family was already in such a situation that he was afraid of throwing things out of balance for his hard working sister and mother if he happened to come out to them, maybe when they get established and what not or if he seriously gets past the “I like you” stage of the relationship and gets real love.
Enjoyed this story and worth it, cute fast read.

Amore ricambiato o meno tra sogno e realtà
La storia è delicata e ben disegnata. Mi è piaciuta anche se ho trovato più bello Intense della stessa autrice che però si sviluppava su quattro volumi anziché uno.
