The Eccentric Master becomes a butler?!

Disguising herself as a rich young lady, Nichika infiltrates the hidden ranks at Elminage Academy for Gifted Witches and Wizards to investigate the attacker from Cherry Blossom Kingdom. All too happy to play along, Oswald completely enters Butler Mode, treating Nichika so kindly she starts to miss his teasing! But he’d better watch out if he wants to hold on to his apprentice because an old frenemy is out to win Nichika’s heart!

I almost wailed at the end of the broomstick race in Windy Village. That's how invested I was in the characters and story Sayuki-Sensei's 2nd volume of EMatFL. I can't wait for the next volume!

I just have so much fun reading this series! It's fast-paced, magical, funny, and steamy! Nichika is a genuine character that reacts in such honest and refreshing ways--she's surprisingly relatable, which is hard to find sometimes in this genre. I can't wait for the next one!

Now I have to wait for the third volume!!!!
I'm not gonna spoil anything or give a summary of the book. I'll just say that while reading it, I was visualizing anime cliche moments here and there to understand what I was reading. Then there are those subtle hints that there's more going on and not being told-to both the characters and the readers. Low key, I'm hoping that the next volume isn't the last, but if it is, it better be a thick book! I really enjoy the character's interactions and conversations.
I should also mention that besides the book being rather easy for me to read, it moves alot too. I like the flow and pace of both books...now tell me when volume 3 will come out!!!
Side note, this is a 31 yr old chick reading this series, and there are some aspects in both volumes that I'm not sure I'd want a 16 and younger to read...but than again, they may not actually know what they're reading until they get older.
