What a disappointment. I liked the first 8 hours (up until the first time skip) but after that it just went downhill. Boring and padded out plot, uninteresting characters, empty levels and by far the worst side missions i have ever seen. Oh and did i already mention the pacing? This game should have been cut in half, 20hrs instead of 40hrs. While the ending in general is actually pretty good, i just could not care less.

The combat was fun but ultimately the lack of basic combos meant that you were just waiting for your eikon abilities to recharge. Also the time between new abilites takes so long, combat feels very repetitive because of that (and also the lack of base combos).

I think this is the first time i was actually really disappointed in a game. There was some potential here but in the end they just wasted it because they could not decide what direction they wanted this game to go. Is it a Character Action Game? Or an RPG? Or an singleplayer-mmorpg hybrid with the worst main and side quest ever?

At least now i have learned a lesson, to never finish a game ever again if i dont feel like it.

This games is truly a work of art. Everything from the open world, the scenery, the locations, the way you discover new things, the story, the characters, the cinematics, the music. Everything is just such a vibe man. However, while i like the overall plot and characters i do think that the game drags on way too long and while the characters are all fun, most of them arent really that interesting. The main plot of the gang needing money also becomes very repetitive. Just like past rockstar games there isnt really a main villian too. Just a handful of bad guys trying to catch the gang. This lack of "focus" is what i didnt like and really bogged down the experience. Does that make sense? Dont know, but thats what i felt playing the game. Also the fucking controls suck ass, feels like im playing a game from 2008.

Overall great experience, but not without its flaws.
