Discovery Plus Free Trial for Verizon Unlimited Customers

Discovery Plus is free for six months with select Verizon Unlimited plans. The streaming service, which houses shows from Discovery, HGTV, and Food Network, typically costs $5 a month with commercials, or $7 a month without ads.

As part of a long-running promotion, select Verizon Unlimited customers can snag six months of ad-free Discovery Plus for free. That's a $42 value at no cost with your phone plan. The streaming service is a must-have for fans of "Property Brothers," "90 Day Fiance," and other shows on Discovery, Food Network, TLC, and HGTV.

Outside of this offer, Discovery Plus usually costs $5 a month with ads, or $7 a month for the ad-free plan. Regular free trials only last for seven days, making Verizon's deal the best we've seen outside of a few, short-lived outliers.

Who qualifies for Verizon's Discovery Plus deal?

To get six months of Discovery Plus for free, you need to be subscribed to Verizon's Unlimited, Go Unlimited, Beyond Unlimited, Above Unlimited, Do More Unlimited, or Start Unlimited plans.

Current Verizon members with an eligible plan just need to select Discovery Plus as an add-on to their account. If you're not a Verizon member yet, you need to enroll in an eligible plan before claiming the offer.

While there used to be a deadline to enroll, it kept being pushed back. Now, there is no deadline listed at all. The offer has been around since the start of 2021, and we're not sure when it will end.
