About Marisela

I grew up spending quality time with my nephews and nieces. We would build fortresses out of cardboard boxes, bake in the kitchen, and take trips to the local library. I graduated from CSUN with a degree in English Literature. I am a tutor at Sylvan Learning Center, Scoot Education and . My day can range from correcting papers online, teaching high school math, building reading skills with a Pre-K student, and/or playing soccer with first graders at the boys and girls club. I am a beginner in Sign Language (my niece's first language). Last year, I took care of a 4-year-old autistic child every Saturday for eight months from 1-10 p.m. He taught me a lot about patience and the importance of discipline and a consistent routine for growth.
