On her menopause

Menopause has been the single most challenging time of my life. For me, I felt lost for a good while, and I didn’t understand why. I regularly started to feel anxious and overwhelmed. I was worrying about things that didn’t need worrying about. Steve, my husband, could tell I had things on my mind and I could reel off a long list of things that were taking up space in my head, but not one of them was important. I wasn’t sleeping because of it, and I’d get uncontrollably anxious about things like making the journey through the airport. I wasn’t worrying about anything falling out of the sky – that I suppose
