The power of YONI

When a friend recommends a masseuse, it’s likely you’ll imagine a back or shoulder massage, perhaps even a foot rub or a heavenly cranial caress. It’s a treat to buy for your mum, or safe enough as a voucher for a fussy friend.

But there’s another form of massage growing in popularity in holistic circles. It’s called yoni massage and involves the touch and massage of the female genitals.

With roots firmly planted in therapeutic principles, the goal is an emotional journey. Sure, orgasms can and do happen, but the ultimate aim is to release tension in the genitals, heal trauma and connect with a place practitioners see as sacred. After treatment, people might find sex more pleasurable than prior to the massage therapy.
