SHE sat on a park bench with her sisters, breathing in the clean, fresh air.

“I was so excited because I could smell the air, smell the grass,” Jordan Turpin says. “I was like, ‘How can heaven be better than this?’”

That sweet moment came shortly after Jordan and her 12 siblings were released from California’s so-called House of Horrors in 2018 – a dark, foul-smelling four-bedroom home they’d been kept captive in by their parents for most of their lives.
