Hello, everyone! I’m speaking to you from the 18th century. Don’t ask how. It’s complicated. So let’s move on.

I’m a French sheep.

I’m guessing that fact has left you amazed. But it’s true. I really am French.

My name is Montauciel – which translates as ‘Climb to the Sky’. It’s a bit of a mouthful so you can call me Monty. All my friends do. I’ll introduce you to a couple of them later.

Something else that might interest you is that I’m actually quite famous. I won’t tell you for what just yet, as it will spoil the surprise. (So don’t google me until I have explained all.)

Let me take you back to the year 1783, when I was happily living on a farm with my family. Life was pretty good. Until the man appeared…
