An hour of walking could not only count as your exercise for the day, but also improve your mental health, too – decreasing the rate of depression, boosting your mood, improving energy, and reducing anxiety. Don’t have an hour? Harvard research found that walking for just 20 minutes a day at least five days a week resulted in 43 per cent fewer sick days than for those who exercised once a week or less.
