CHARACTERS OF THE BIBLE TITUS

What kind of person would you want in charge of difficult church ministry? No doubt it would have to be a person of character, integrity, and grit. This month we take a look at just such a man, Paul’s ministry companion Titus.

Paul mentions Titus 16 times in four of his letters (2 Cor, Gal, 2 Tim, Tit). Only Timothy is mentioned more. We first learn about Titus in Galatians, where Paul takes him on his journey to Jerusalem to argue that the Gospel is not limited to Jews, but is for Gentiles as well.
