What our readers think
Readers find this title to be mediocre and lacking in many ways. The characters feel superficial and the attempts at comedic relief fall flat. However, the writing style is enjoyable and easy to read. Despite its flaws, readers still appreciate Emma Mills' talent and will continue to read her books."
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I like Emma Mills and I know she has a lot of talent and her writing is beautiful. I just felt this story was lacking in a lot of ways. It was boring, the characters felt superficial, any attempt at comedic relief was a weird dirty joke. I liked Sophie and August individually but it never felt like they had any great or intimate connections... Just like there's two people who happened to be there at the same time?
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5this book just didn't do anything for me. it's mediocre but the writing was pretty good I flew by easily though it's forgettable one too. However I still enjoy Emma Mills writing style though and I'll continue picking her books.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/52.5 stars
I got mixed feelings because it wasn’t as good as Mills other novels but it was still good, just not a favorite.
