Introduction:
I have had a pile of A4 pages lying around my home of Bible Scriptures, and I have collected more over the years.
One thing I am learning is that Jesus tells us to 'Speak,' or 'say' the word of God more than He tells us to 'read' the word or even 'do' the word. For example in;
Mark 11:23 – For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Have you ever counted how many times we are told to 'say', or 'speak' Gods word in just this verse alone? I counted FIVE! WOW!
Proverbs 18:21 tells us that 'Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.'
There are two kingdoms, the Kingdom of LIFE, and the Kingdom of DEATH. Or, the Kingdom of Light, and Kingdom of Darkness: Positive, negative; blessings and curses. All story books have it: good and evil wherever you go.
I know that we shape our own world. What we have in our life is a product of what we have said in our life. What we sow in life is what we will reap in life.
Speaking words of death, produces death! Speaking words of life, produce life! Our words actually attract spirit beings. For example; if we say; I always get sick this time of the year!
Or "I was scared to death!
I'm never going to be able to do that, because I
