'' The GURU of Fortune ''

Mr. V.S. Guruswamy, the youngest son of Pandit Sethuraman, was born in the year of 1963 at Madras. He is the author of this book, My Fortune.

Pandit Sethuraman was, by then, at the peak of his fame as a Numerologist both at home and abroad. This Messiah of Numerology, despite his busy routine of giving occult guidance to hundreds of his clients every day, ensured proper initiation of his son, Guruswamy into the art of predicting one’s life through numbers and names.

Guruswamy, when he turned fifteen, started learning the science of the mystic numbers under the strict surveillance of his illustrious father and Guru. He travelled widely to many parts of the world and endeared himself to his clients. Guruswamy did not neglect the academic studies. He passed his M.A. having studied at Vivekananda College, Madras, India.

Reading, writing and continuous research are Mr. Guruswamy’s forte! Happily married and having become father of two children, this responsible husband and affectionate father continues his profession as the leading Numerologist, undeterred by the burden of swelling number of clients and his frequent tours abroad. NUMEROLOGY - THE MYSTIC KEY TO SUCCESS

Numbers and names are inseparably connected to human life. They are the foundation of evolution without which the human race could not have progressed to the present state. How many of us know that salamanders always choose their meal of insects only on the basis of their numbers; Rhesus monkeys select only those trees for plucking fruits whichever having greater number of fruits and a particular breed of shepherd dogs in the southern America count the number of cattle before returning home by hopping over each of them? Man, the noblest creation of God, depends immensely on numbers in every activity of his life. He knows that a world devoid of numbers and names would end up in chaos and cease to exist subsequently. Educational institutions, elections, financial institutions like banks, lotteries, telephones, computers, airlines and even prisons employ the use of NUMBERS which are indispensable to man and his routine transactions. He may claim that he has conquered Nature and invented the modern sciences with the power of his intellect. But, he is yet to decipher the remaining ninety nine percent of the Divine code of God. Animals act as per their instincts, but the rational animal called Man acts as and how his Wisdom suggests. It was this wisdom of man that gifted him a wonderful science of peeping into future, called NUMEROLOGY - knowing all aspects of one’s life through numbers!

Numerology, one of the earliest predictive sciences the human race knows and practices, is actually dealing with the planets in the solar family and the cosmological forces they emit. These forces that affect the plant and animal life on the earth vary in their strength depending upon the planet from which they emanate. Thus, when the necessity for identifying such cosmological forces and their results arose, the planets were represented by NUMBERS and NAMES revealing their occult symbolism -just as we, the earthlings, identify and classify one another in our everyday life. The alphabets constituting a name have phonetic strength and each has its own wave length or frequency. The findings mentioned by me in this book, My Fortune are based on Chaldean system of numbers which had been thoroughly researched into and practiced by my illustrious father Pandit Sethuraman for five decades. It was only the Pandit who proved to the world for the first time that predictions for 108 name numbers could be given with astonishing accuracy and a change in the spelling of one’s name could lead to a remarkable change in his or her fortune. The secret of success lies in choosing the right name with the right numbers. In this regard, the Chaldean System proves to be better than any other system as my experience of twenty five years says.

WELCOME TO THE WONDERLAND OF FORTUNE!

It is a delightful experience to explain the basics of Numerology to our readers. This branch of predictive sciences classify the humankind into 9 main categories viz. 9 single numbers starting from 1 representing the 9 planets in the solar system which influence the activities on the earth. They are

Suppose a person was born on the 14th March, 1879, (written in figures) = 14-3-1879

(a) Add the Date numbers; 1+4 = 5 Birth Number (Mercury)

(b) Total = 1+4 + 3 + 1+8 + 7 + 9 = 33 (add again) = 6 Destiny Number (Venus)

Birth Number denotes a person’s physique, personality traits, inborn qualities, and outlook of life. In short, Birth number signifies the person’s image in his/her own view.

Destiny Number denotes how the person looks like in others’ view, the current of his destiny and the maximum limit upto which he / she can progress.

Judging a person’s life numerologically is to be done by ascertaining the resultant strength and interaction of both birth and destiny numbers and also name numbers.

WHAT’S IN A NAME?

As discussed earlier, each letter of the 26 alphabets of English language is assigned a number with a sound value (The tables as per Chaldean Numerology which we follow is given below). The total compound number in 2 digits or 3 digits decides how best the person whose Name Number in question uses the cosmological forces of the planet represented by the name which modifies, retards, or accelerates the course of destiny. The learned readers will now understand that while they cannot change their dates of birth (Fate), they can very well increase or decrease the good / bad effects of their Names (Free will) by causing a change in their names!

CHALDEAN SYSTEM OF NUMBERS

Date of Birth 14th March, 1879 i.e. 14.3.1879

14 = 1+4 = 5. Birth Number is that of MERCURY

1 +4 + 3 + 1 +8 + 7 + 9 = 33 = 6. Destiny Number is that of VENUS

WHY DO WE JUDGE A NATIVE BY BIRTH, DESTINY AND NAME NUMBERS?

The necessity of analysing someone’s life, be it any day he was born on, is based on the fact that it is only the mutual interaction of the said three numbers that determines everything about the person and his life. What the person is endowed with, how far he could go in the life’s race for success and how best he would shine in his endeavours are the three questions answered by Birth, Destiny and Name numbers. The combined effect of the Birth and Destiny numbers can be modified by altering the sum total of the Name Numbers which is achieved by changing the spelling of the name numerologically.
