About this ebook
Who Loses Wins: A cynical tragedy of cowardly bravery.
A small Australian country-town entrepreneurial company taken over by an ex-Government body is slowly destroyed. Destructive ridicule is continually inflicted on the small band of loyal creative employees. They are treated as "country-bumpkins" and perennially informed that creativity can ONLY reside in a major city.
Joe cannot assimilate the wastage, incomprehensible sycophantic bullshit and character assassination everyone surviving "outplacement" and "downsizing" is subjected to. He diverts his energies into helping others at "Crisis Support" finding everyone looking for aid is as he is. Hypnosis is used to help the people with problems but innocently goes wrong leading to mass individual disobedience against Authority which Joe is accused of and convicted of generating. The solution is to commit him to a mental asylum and murder him while being transported there using a deliberately misinformed SAS field training exercise.
As Joe dies he enters the mystic realm of his Overself letting us see the reasons behind his and our personal existence including the karmic present and past-lives stream of reasons why experience happens.
But, the result is not what you expect?

THE COMING:
Nerd looked out of the window at the Australian countryside as it moved fast below the chopper. Its route meandered a lot and being quite low to avoid radar he marvelled at the countryside changes. Meandering rivers, scrub, roos and pigs scattered at the pock-pock
noise from the choppers blades beating asynchronously. The Group liked this new method of training recently introduced by someone, 'Up There,' they were so pissed with the un-natural Swanbourne methods, not really pissed, it became too easy, the simulated training. This was going to be actually fun he thought, get to Woop-woop he called it, meet Leader and Anchor and action the training plan as they had been briefed on.
A big grey roo below stopped running and looked-up. Nerd 'took-aim' with his hand emitting a Pow
and Loner laughed at him, Now, now, dem roos is protected ya know,
he uttered. Nerd just shook his head and smiled looking out the window making sure the other chopper was still there.
At Woop-woop Police Station policeman Bruce leant against the paddy wagon passing the time of day. He could hear something distant like helicopters and looked about the sky trying to find them. His searching was broken as the rear door of the Cop-Shop opened and Joe appeared handcuffed his arm held by Bruce's mate, Bill. Bruce took hold of Joe's other arm and the pair started to bundle him through the open door of the paddy wagon but the sound of helicopters made all three stop and look up.
Nerd saw the start of the country town as the choppers entered its air space and smiled as people started looking up at the noise. He glimpsed a couple of cops and a prisoner alongside a police-van as the choppers pock-pocked asynchronously quickly past.
Fuck,
Bruce emitted, thought they were going to crash they're so low!
Funny buggers, ain't they, black things, never seen the likes before? Bloody sinister looking things, ain't they?
Bill comments. Joe grins and asks, Wonder what the SAS is up to?
Bill turns to him puzzled, SAS?
Joe's smile widens. Yeah, yeah, numnut,
Bill retorts as the cops bundle Joe into the paddy wagon Bruce getting in with him and Bill closing its door before getting into the cab, starting it and driving off.
Outside an Insane Asylum gates a black Transit style sinister looking wagon with blackened windows waits, its 5 litre supercharged high-powered engine on tick-over. Leader grips its steering wheel frustratedly then looks at his military-style watch. Bloody never on time!
He curses looking up at the Asylum sign, 'ST PAULS HOSPITAL FOR THE MENTALLY IMPAIRED.' He looks out at billboards on the side of a bus-shelter close by the asylum entrance.
