THREE APPROACHES ON HOW TO USE THESE QUESTIONNAIRES
THE FIRST APPROACH ON HOW TO USE
THESE QUESTIONAIRES.
These questionnaires should be taught in the order in which they appear in the book with the one on Evangelism being the first, because this is really the foundation of all the other questions contained therein; and they should be taught without skipping any of the topics because to fully understand Christianity you need to delve into all these subjects. Now I’m going to suggest three approaches that one can use in dealing with these questionnaires.. The first approach, and probably the easiest to organize, could be a 10 week Bible course: One questionnaire (only questions of interest) per class. Of course before the 10 week Bible course begins you should have an introductory class to indicate to the participants how you’re going to teach the course. Now if you don’t cover all the questions that the participants are interested in with some of the questionnaires the first time around, you could go around a second time with those questionnaires and cover those missing questions of interest.
THE SECOND APPROACH ON HOW TO USE THESE QUESTIONNAIRES
A second way one could use this questionnaire guide would be by developing a Philips 66
approach, if you’re not going to use these questionnaires in a Bible class. That is, at a convenient time, such as, after your Sunday morning worship service when you have most of your people present, hold your discussion group by, if you have more than 8 attending, breaking them up into smaller groups. Each group would then select a leader and a recording secretary, after which you would ask each group to discuss the same question or questions (see below for suggestive questions) for 15 to 30 minutes. You would then bring the groups back together again into a larger whole so that the recording secretaries could report on what went on in the smaller groups. And finally, you would conclude with any further discussion needed by the larger whole. The complete procedure should last about one hour. The questionnaires should serve as reference points toward some of the questions that might come up during the smaller group discussions. lf you find the time too short in discussing the theme for the day, you can always set up an additional hourly discussion group a little bit later on the same topic.
Some suggestive questions for each class or group could be:
Chapt 1 How do you communicate your faith? Is it effective? How could it become more effective?
Chapt 2 Why do good people have to suffer, and how can you deal with this problem?
Chapt 3 Economic Suffering-How can one find a job? How can one become Financially Independent?.
Chapt 4 Political Suffering-How does one deal with the Political Tragedies around the World? Could this group become a Political Lobbying Group on a particular Christian issue?
Chapt 5 How can Christians become more united and what is the single most divisive issue preventing this?
Chapt 6 What should the role of men and women be in church and society? And how can you have a successful marriage between a man and a woman?
Chapt.7 How do you witness to a homosexual if you come across one? And is the practice of homosexuality a sin for all people?
Chapt 8 Should the question be: abortion or no abortion; or what do you do with unwanted children? And if the latter, how do you deal with this concern? And how do you deal with Unwanted Pregnancies? Also is a fetus a human being, or a potential human being?
Chapt 9 How do you relate to people in other religions or people with no religion?
Chapt 10 How do you look upon death and the after-life?
I’m writing this book because I organized a single topic discussion Predestination
in my church many years ago and it proved quite successful in that the people requested a second discussion on the same topic. I feel this can be done with any topic Christians are concerned about.

And the final approach could be that during the first class each participant should read the questionnaire thoroughly, if they haven’t already done so, and then have them choose the three most important questions contained within that particular questionnaire that they would like to see discussed. And then designate these questions as #1, #2, and #3. Then have one of the participants, who is systematically chosen, select their question #1 that he or she would like to see discussed, and then have that person lead a discussion, using Scripture where possible, on that question within the group. Then when that discussion is exhausted, go on to the next participant for him or her to choose the next question they would like to see discussed, and then repeat the process. Of course, this all should be done on a voluntary basis. This continues until all the questions of interest to the participants are discussed on this particular questionnaire. Then we can go on to the next questionnaire and repeat the process, until all the questionnaires are covered. When you finish with this exercise, then hopefully you’ll begin to understand the full extent of the Christian faith. Also these latter two methods are a possible means whereby you could train future Christian Discussion Leaders for adults, and even adolescents. .
AT THE END OF EACH CHAPTER YOU WILL FIND SPACE THAT IS PROVIDED FOR YOU IN TRYING TO ANSWER SOME OF THE QUESTIONS THAT YOU MIGHT BE REFLECTING UPON.

CONVERSION TO CHRIST AND HOW TO COMMUNICATE CHRIST MORE EFFECTIVELY
The purpose of this questionnaire is to help people understand how they came to know Jesus Christ, and then how they can communicate Him to others, or in other words: Evangelism. Although it might be easy to communicate our faith with other Christian, it becomes much more difficult to share our faith with non-Christians, and this discussion guide hopefully will help you with this. A further purpose for this guide as a lead-off is that without effective faith communication, our efforts to deal with other Christian concerns become fruitless. After all, we might be the first Bible people will read as we try to imitate Christ. Two pastors found these questions most interesting and stimulating. Some of these questions might be pertinent to your life, others maybe not. Only consider those questions that are meaningful to you, which might take only one sitting, or more. But it might be helpful if these questions were reviewed by the participants a week before they’re discussed. Rom. 10:9, John 4:1-26, John 8:4-11, Rom 10:9-15, Etc.
