About this ebook
In the twinkling of an eye I died, and was reborn, and I recieved a heart transplant, clear eye sight, a notable direction of where to go, a desire unmatched by anything I had ever felt, a want, that as of yet has not been fulfilled, a gift from the most high, that of writing, a need so great that I couldnt really describe even if I wanted too, and felt what unconditional love is. These are just some of the things that I will tell of in this book, and the changes in my life. Here is something to remember: There is an utterance upon the winds of the storm, many will not here it, but the righteous will say please tell me more Lord, please tell me more!

In the twinkling of an eye I died and was reborn, and I received a heart transplant; clear eyesight; a notable direction of where to go; a desire unmatched by anything I had ever felt; a want that as of yet has not been fulfilled; a gift from the most high, that of writing; and a need so great that I couldn’t really describe it even if I wanted to. I also felt unconditional love.

CHAPTER 1
2.jpgThe Night I Was Reborn
There was a time when everything in my life came to a crashing halt. The old me died the night it happened. The old me—a depressed, lonely, undeserving, worthless individual—was gone forever. At times, the old me still tries to come out, and only by the grace of God can I keep the old me down and out.
This all happened on June 18, 2010, as I sat at home all by myself trying to figure out all the wrongs I had committed to make things happen the way they happened. Although the ins and the outs of what happened that fateful night are really irrelevant, I can tell you that God’s Holy Comforter (the Holy Spirit) came into my soul, gave me a heart transplant, opened my eyes, and changed my life forever.
First, a little background. I am sixty years of age, and I have always had trouble keeping good relationships with others—that means my two wives, my children, people I’ve worked with, and people I thought were my friends. I had trust issues and enochlophobia. Being in large crowds of people created feelings of being unable to control whatever was happening around me. In a way you could say I was closed up in a small room with a short temper and a short fuse. I wasn’t the most popular fella around; I was a time bomb just waiting to explode, or kind of like nitroglycerin. All it would have taken was a slight misshapen jolt to make me explode. I was kind of like a smoker trying to quit after being a smoker for, say, about thirty years. The explosion seemed inevitable; it was just a matter of being in a place or a situation or with a person I really did not want to be around.
Now that I have condemned myself enough, I will continue. Now you will see that you can be forgiven by our Lord Jesus Christ no matter what you have done in this world.
With all that was going on in my life, I didn’t really want to live anymore. Even though I thought I had Christ in my heart, he was really only in my mind. It wasn’t until June 18 that I truly had him in my heart; you really don’t know where he is within you until God sends the Holy Spirit to wake you up to all that needs to be seen.
A person I know once asked me what I thought the longest path to find Christ was, and in the answer to this question I learned a very valuable lesson. The longest trip to find Christ is from your head
