Andrew James Wells
Andrew James Wells, born on 11th September 1975, is an English author originally from the small village of Yarm and now residing in Stockton.Andrew started writing when he was fifteen years of age where he started writing poetry based on life experiences and issues he felt strongly about, these can be seen in his poetry book ‘Past Visions’.Since writing, what is known now as, Past Visions in 1991, Andrew took a huge break before starting again in 2012 with a new writing method and a more mature outlook to his work. Again this poetry was based on his own experiences and issues he felt strongly about, starting with the eBook ‘Shattered Glass Mind’.Andrew has always had a passion of how words, especially accompanied by music, could create a mood, a feeling and a range of emotions, and in some circumstances create a connection between the writer and the reader. Andrew put this into practice with his recent writing, the ability to connect with others and write about issues that affect us all.Andrew is currently working on short stories.

Words
Words fall on deaf ears
But actions speak so much louder
Thirty-six years walking
With this hell weighing me down
On a path that nearly lost me
Took all this time to finally find
The innocence amongst the ashes
Severed the negative flesh
That buried around my heart
The ghosts of self doubt
Cast away, though still they haunt
I walk this fine line each day
Between happiness and sorrow
But if I ever kill the life of today
I won’t ever see the wonders of tomorrow
Shadows
In the land of angels, the devil reigns
Virgin white canvas, the negativity paints
Black shadows dance, making no sound
Lost within the mist, awaiting to be found
If loves the answer, is the question you?
My wings have been stripped, now subdued
Free falling, my destination not yet shown
I am hurtling
