      The pleasant, cool air blew against Carly's face as she walked towards the museum. Every moment spent in Norway never failed to amaze Carly. The beautiful country seemed to be perfect in every way for her. The natural beauty was so breathtaking that she had to stop and pause for several moments whenever she walked just to immerse herself in the lush green trees, the mighty peaks in the distance and the clear blue waters. She also found Scandinavian history and Norse mythology to be particularly fascinating, which was why she was headed toward the Lofotr Viking Museum.

      But it was not only that. The people were so gorgeous, she thought. They had porcelain white skin and were tall with light hair and light eyes. It made her stare at them, almost rudely. She felt a little humdrum in comparison. Not that Carly was unattractive, in fact, she didn't realise that she was garnering a lot of attention as well, but their culture made them aloof and hence, refrain from going up to her. Coming from the USA, Carly was used to being hit on constantly, men approached her often and unhesitatingly, and she was not quite sure how to react to the cold, yet stunning people of this country.

      She was mixed race, so her skin was a luscious shade of caramel brown. Standing at a mere 5 feet tall made her feel lost pretty often, especially here in Norway, where everyone seemed to be a giant! Her dark brown eyes were large and vivacious, and she had wildly curly black hair, which she attempted to straighten but only in vain. Her delectably thick lips seemed to settle on a permanent pout, giving her a very provocative look. She was slim, but had very wide hips and large breasts. She posed a striking figure in her own way, despite remaining in awe of the people that looked so unlike her. Completely unaware of how much they envied her flawless darker skin, and her short, curvy body, Carly assumed that she must appear invisible to them. It didn't help that she was also a virgin, and so lacked confidence about her own sexual appeal. It was certainly not for lack of desire amongst men, but rather just the lack of opportunity.

      Carly finally reached the museum after almost an hour of walking. But she was not tired at all. In fact, it seemed as if the large, black gates actually served to further invigorate her. Walking in, still in complete awe at the splendour around her, she looked around in fascination. Putting on the headphones provided for guests, she walked to each display, standing and observing inside the glass case while listening to the explanations given. The weapons looked almost real. Carly longed to run her fingers across the smooth axes and swords. The statues of the Viking men and women were so realistic, she almost felt like they were breathing. What separated them from reality was simply their non-human, large size. But she found herself staring into the powerful, unmoving eyes of the statue of the Viking man, wondering what it would be like if he was real. He looked so wondrous, almost frightening in his regal posture. The voice coming from the headphones explained that she was standing in front of a recreation of a Viking chieftain, considered to be the most powerful member of the community.

      Looking at all the exhibits got her imagination running wild. She imagined what it would be like to live about a thousand years in the past. What was this place, where she was standing right now like? Probably empty, maybe a Viking village, she thought. It was mentioned that all the items on display were actual recreations of a real village. She wondered what her role would be in the community. Since she was a woman, would she simply be confined to working at home? Or would she have played a more active role in community politics? She knew that Norse women had always been given more power than their contemporary European counterparts. She imagined being the much coveted wife of a village chief, he would be the tallest and strongest man in the village without a doubt. And they would make love every day. Blushing, she wondered how sexuality was seen back then. She couldn't help but feel a slight thrill in trying to recreate historical sexual situations in her head. She was certain that they would
